This. But, comparing a prime Vitali to a green Joshua isn't really a fair comparison. Maybe when Joshua has about 10 more fights, since he looked very green against Takam.
Would be similar to Vitaliy vs Corrie Sanders except the fight vs Corrie was more compatible. Vitaliy working coutious in first two rounds with jab as fight continuous Vitaliy engages his right hand more often. Joshia tries to land combos and is somewhat successful, but Vitaliy chin holds up and he fights back. Joushua gets tired as fight goes into 7th round and Vitaliy scores a technical KO. BTW Vitaliy that came in vs. Kirk Johnson demolishes Joshua in 4 rounds.
it wouldnt be same as sanders, sanders was a 38 year old puffing retiree who never managed to even qualify for a title shot when prime. but prime vitali would beat green joshua by narrow, split decision. I am unsure by how much Josh will improve, to be fair.
Vitali would take his time with that PED infested fake ****er and gets him out of there before the 10th
Joshua is the best in the world today. A worthy champion but he's below the levels of Lewis, Klitschko, and Klitschko. Not sure if he's better than Bowe either when Bowe as at his best, I'd lean toward Bowe. I do think Joshua is better than Rhaman, McCall, old Foreman, Moorer, Byrd, Ibragomov, those guys. Holyfield? Hard to say. Povektin his prime? More time is needed but based on a 39 year old Povetkin doing so well I'd say Povetkin > Joshua if each was in their prime.
Hypothetically would Vitali have still been wbc champ if he fought Joshua, instead of the caveman Sam Peter, If there was a paradox in the fabric of time? Not going to compare a prime Vitali because he did lose to Byrd. But was Dr Iron Fist durable enough to withstand such a violent attack by a roid raged bodybuilder? I don't see a scenario where Vitali, could endure the mythical uppercut that fell his brother Wladimir. It's just fate.
Lol! So Vitali, who was 5X tougher than his ATG brother, would have trouble withstanding “The Mythical Uppercut” Joshua landed on Wlad? Lol Dude the uppercut that Lewis landed on Vitali was harder and didn’t budge Klitschko. I believe that was one of the main things that made Lewis rethink stepping in with Vitali again.
