Holyfield,Ibeabuchi, Mercer,Morrison and younger Wlad does too. AJ a good HW in an average era in the division.
Man not another ATG thread on Joshua... 22 fights in and he is in the top 15 of all time. Do me a frigging favor, it is an insult to real fighters of the past and recent eras, and i could name lots that would KO him brutally who themselves certainly wont get top 15 either.
Hes still quite raw, but since he might not his prime for a few years its a bit early to be too harsh on him. A top 15 ATG right now. no. But he has many years to stake a claim. I know people are quick to knock him and yes povetkin and klit were past prime but they are still good wins and good names on the resume. Whyte, parker, takam are no mugs either. Hes doing as well as he can do, can only beat who is in front of him and so far he has time will tell how he is rememebered. Im just happy the HW scene is as competitive as it it at the minute, its been a really long time.
Top 15 ATG? Try top 3, especially after midget tossing Povetkin out the ring. No other HW in history could be so soundly outboxed by the decrepit midget before unleashing his inhuman "power" and throwing the little guy into the crowd.
He has a way to go yet but luckily for him he will get the opportunity to jump into that mix. Fights with Wilder, Fury, Usyk will be his big legacy defining fights. On top of that he can fight other top contenders like Whyte again, Pulev/Fury, Miller etc and may have some other top contenders such as Joyce, Hrgovic, Kuzmin, Kabayel, Yoka, Teslenko etc so he has the fights that can make that list. Should be a fun ride finding out.
What a performance indeed, he arguably lost every round until he landed a lucky punch, kind of a Wilder like pattern with him isn't it?
