@CutThroatFade around the 5 minute mark Hearn says that if Wilder has given Fury a rematch clause then that means Wilder doesnt want to fight AJ

That’s an obscene remark considering Joshua had a rematch clause for the Parker fight.

His quote regarding Fury is hilarious considering he tried very hard to sign him. It also stinks of a man who's in fear of the gypsy king. Reminds me of the many times over the years we heard how "boring" Rigondaux was from various promoters. The fact is, if team Frampton/Quigg/LSC etc believed they could've beat Rigondeaux, we wouldn't have heard anything about him being "boring" and the fights would've been made. It was fear and the same rules apply here. AJ/Fury is the biggest fight in the sport. Britain will literally explode into boxing mania if it's made, blowing any PPV in history out of the water and then some. If Hearn was confident of beating Fury, why on earth would he play the fight down? He's fearful of Fury 100%. I don't blame him. If nothing else, he knows Fury will make AJ look appalling.

Giving more fruit to the theory, AJ has said he'll fight Wilder next in Wembley, even if he loses to Fury. Bizarre comments. The agenda appears to me to be avoid both as long as possible, especially Fury.

I've big respect for Hearn and everything he's done for the sport. But as soon as a bit of heat has been put on matchroom, I don't like his attitude or bare faced lies. We all know Whyte is next. Why bother saying otherwise? Putting a deadline of before the Wilder/Fury fight is ridiculous and a blatant excuse to leave negotiations as they have done already. We knew all along Povetkin was the September fight.

Eddie is reminding me more and more of De La Hoya. Saying anything to suit his agenda. I hate De La Hoya.

Had to laugh at Hearn talking about his slow ticket sales for last weekend: "The US market is different. You sell a lot of tickets the week of the fight. You sell tickets on fight night. It's different to the UK, the venue will be sold out on the night."

That's all well and good but he never mentioned any of that when having a dig at Wilder/Fury ticket sales. In fact, I find everything he says about Wilder/Fury a bit petty. "It'll be a terrible fight. Fury will stink the place out then get KO'd." I'm a big Fury fan but if Wilder KO's him, it'll be sensational viewing for boxing fans. If Fury wins, regardless of how he does it, it'll be unbelievable stuff.

Hearn has also said Fury is the most boring fighter in the world. This, after offering him millions of pounds to sign with matchroom. We all know if Fury signed for Eddie, Hearn would've told us "Tyson is a freak of nature, 6 foot 9, 250 pounds, moves like a welterweight, undefeated, a nightmare for anyone."

I've no problem with Eddie bigging up his own fighters. Thats his job and he's great at it. He's a great promoter, very successful. Which is why I find his digs at fighters petty and unnecessary. He should be above that.

I liked De La Hoya the fighter myself. But my jaysus I can't bear the promoter. That guy is the biggest snake in the snake pit.

Hearn obviously wanted to sign Fury to make it easier to create the Fury Joshua fight and make more money for all concerned.

There's no hypocrisy in this. Yes, I grant you, he'd not be running his mouth off about how boring Fury is, but he'd almost certainly still think it given, in the ring at least, most people do find him boring.

Do most people find him boring? I love to watch him fight. His skills are second to none in the heavyweight division. Genuine question.

Hearn commenting on the Wilder-Fury fight since it’s an announcement has been nothing short of a rampant embarrassment. When the fight was first announced, Hearn was immediately on the phone to Kugan making it clear that the fight was “not gonna happen”. Deep down he knew he had been exposed to the fans. He spent almost a full year unsuccessfully negotiating a fight with Wilder, repeatedly contradicting himself about the revenue generating potential of the fight so that he could low ball Wilder. Then Fury and Warren negotiated the fight within a matter of weeks making Hearn look like the shyster he is.

Now the fight looks like it will definitely happen. And all we have heard from Hearn is how Fury is “finished”, despite Fury leaking that pathetic email where Hearn begged Fury to sign with him, claiming it would “shake up the boxing world”.

All we have heard is how the fight is going to be a “stinker”. It may well turn out to be a bad fight? It may be an absolutely brilliant fight? What is Hearn’s interest in shitting on the fight? As Joshua’s and Whyte’s promoter surely he should be bigging up the fight between two potential future opponents on Matchroom PPVs? Why, after he announced a PPV clash with BT is he now repeatedly shitting on a BT PPV? He always claims he is a supporter of British boxing and how he loves the thriving scene but he’s made himself look like a complete jealous idiot throughout this build up, which doesn’t involve him at all.

I really hope Dec 1 is a barnstormer if a fight won by Tyson Fury, just to see the look on Hearn’s posh Essex twat face.
