Hey IB I haven't heard from you since the rematch. I'm dying to know how many rounds you had Canelo beating GGG by.

 

No man, he clearly won against Cotto, Liam Smith, Chavez Jr. and at the end of the day he knocked out Khan, but the reality is that they were trying to rob Mayweather, they robbed Lara, and killed Golovkin twice.
His scorecards are controversial, no one can deny that.

Oh wow, I must have missed your card. Interesting that you had Canelo winning the 12th but had GGG winning the fight. Many GGG fans and media alike argued that GGG clearly won the 12th, some even argued that there's no way you can give the 12th to Canelo.

I will have to take a closer look at your card after I have a chance to rewatch it again, and we can compare scores.

 

I gave him the last (albeit not with much confidence) and the first three very clearly. 4th through eleventh were GGG.

 

I thought the clearest rounds for either fighter were the 2nd for Canelo and the 10th for GGG. Most of the other rounds I think are pretty debatable. For you to score 8 rounds in a row for GGG, well that's interesting. Let me ask you this, how many of those rounds (4-11) did you score to GGG "with confidence"?

When watching it a 2nd time, I thought Canelo edged the 11th but I gave GGG the 12th. But I need to watch it yet again to finalize my scoring.

 

Gifted in the sense he's probably been gifted with more decisions than any other boxer in living memory? Yes.
Gifted in the sense he'll be called an ATG in the future? I'm no fan of Canelo but I wouldn't write him off. Questionable decisions aside, he's not been stopped in 50 fights and does possess an above average chin. Let's see where he's at half a decade from now.

I think he was referring to the 3 gifts Pacquiao received prior to being brutally ktfo by JMM. Or at least that's my interpretation.
