Came across very bitter to be honest, I get that Tyson's resume is often critiqued but he's going as far as possible to discredit him.
This is getting boring, this topic is and always will be subject to debate. We can't spin the clock forward or backwards, you can only face the best during YOUR era, it's not as if all fighters prime during a peticular era is the same.
Yeah, I'm a big fan of JRE so I was happy to see a boxing head come on the show to discuss some boxing with him. Turns out it's just Atlas talking 90% of the time, couldn't stand it after 20 minutes.
Anyone elite who beat Tyson on the way down or way past his best. Buster beat a Tyson who was in his physical prime but unprepared. How do you think a rematch would have gone? And if Wlad gets ATG status and a pass for fighting bums and stiffs then Tyson should too. You can only fight who is in front of you.
If you want to use the Tyson wasn't prepared against Douglas route then Foreman wasn't prepared against Ali. The point is Tyson lost a 3rd rate fighter. But Wlad lost to three 3rd rate fighters in his prime. So Tyson is above Wlad in the all time great status.
Teddy was the toast of this forum a week ago when he said something people agreed with (saying Canelo was a robbery) ... but now he’s an idiot who DKSAB. Lol.
I think Mike is one the best heavyweights of all time but even before watching this I always believed that biting Evanders ear was a way out for him because he knew Evander had his number.
Hey, we have always known Teddy held a grudge after being fired then being stuck behind the image of Tyson. It's been 30 years or so and he's still salty as ever.
Eh, I always hated Teddy. Disagreed with him on that one too. I'm sure I've agreed with him on something, but usually I can basically assume if he says something I'm likely to hold the other opinion.
Such a simple minded way of looking at it. How about you post your top 25 hw ATGs? That out to be amusing. I'm looking forward to punching through all your intellectual inconsistencies irrational drivel.
Tyson was a hugely entertaining fighter, but he had absolutely no backbone and he has admitted as much himself. Every time he encountered serious resistance from an equally skilled and motivated opponent, he lost, and there's really no counter argument to be made to that. He shone in a dreadful era and faded as soon as it became competitive. Atlas isn't saying we haven't heard and acknowledged before.
