I have a first class ticket reserved for the Usyk hype train.

Problem is I'm a season ticket holder for the Joshua Express too.

Someone is going to get derailed and honestly I don't know who.

So do you move to a new weight class to take part and make money or to be a Champion?

Because I have a hard time believing he can make a serious dent in top 5

The Usyk hype train is experiencing delays until further notice. We are missing a heavy weight driver who is qualified.

Agree with the overhyping of Uysk but that's partly down to the eye-test (he looks the business) and also the king of the HW division AJ is over-hyped by his fanboys, so it stands to reason those trumpeting the prospects of Uysk are gonna match hyperbole with more hyperbole.

Truth is Joshua is a very good but flawed HW and Uysk has the potential to be a very good HW rival to the main man. Anything more is just fluff...

It's gonna be funny if one of them gets exposed regardless because i'm a neutral spectator, i just don't like overzealous fanboys, i will probably throw a party if the underestimated and ridiculed Wilder knocks both of them out.

I'll concede Wilder is a threat to Joshua because of the one punch power he's got, I often simulate how Joshua would react to it if caught.

But Usyk fanboys need to calm down, I wouldn't have made this thread if they weren't being overzealous.

Imo all boxing fans (myself included) need to calm down a little bit and just enjoy the show but it won't happen :D

    - Delusional tendencies

Vaccinations are provided free of charge.

Yeah, the fact that someone who has technically never fought as a professional HW usually dominates H2H polls against fairly well established HW champs is bizarre.

Additionally, from a historic perspective, dominant HW champs have either been larger than their peers, harder hitting than their peers, or both. A smaller, movement, skills based fighter like Usyk has never dominated the HW division. That is a strong piece of evidence that he is unlikely to do so himself.

Usyk is good, but his serious lack of power will cost him against the top Guys at heavyweight.

Precisely, you hit it on the nail. And for some bizarre reason, on a boxing forum, only a HANDFUL are aware of this information.

That's just how the heavy weight division is.

I like Usyk but I'd prefer to reserve judgement until we actually see how he fares against a bonafide ranked heavyweight.

There was similar hyperbole around David Haye when he moved up and we all know how that turned out.

Yeah but David was an exception, that guy had serious speed and power to trouble any heavyweight, just like Mike Tyson was smaller but explosive.

Usyk is not a David Haye. He would not bode as well against heavies.

See @andrewa1 and @shavers posts above for more details.

Besides, David Haye had a great chin too.
