buster mathis vs humphrey mcbride

    that was for the "super Heavyweight" world title...…...something dreamt up by pat o´grady. mathis was at the end of his Career. McBride was 26-0. mathis won this battle of the fatties.

    does anyone have any pics of this fight? or even the Video?? or any Kind of info? thanx in Advance.

    What I remember about Humphrey McBride was that he was Butterbean before there was a Butterbean. A barnstormer, like you said, by Pat O'Grady. The man who brought us such noteworthies as Monte Masters. I once saw on his record showing that he KO'd Henry Hank. I thought about this and I knew it wasn't right. I always remember Andy kendall being Hank's last fight. I did a little research and found the fighter in question was another barnstormer called Cowboy Hanks. I proved it to boxrec who then expunged it from their respective records. Anyways, that was my take on Humphrey McBride, who, BTW, would pose for publicity shots sporting his portly belly and wearing some crazy colored trunks and a beret.

    yeah, i read that on boxrec. his most notable win was over former frazier Challenger Daniels. did you get to see the guy in Action??
