You think all those wild scorecards in the Lara and Floyd fights aren’t ridiculous?

Tell me they aren’t and I’ll just judge you for being a moron.

Cry some more. He beat GGG easily. What does the Floyd decision have to do with it? If Canelo is so bad what does that say about GGG? Canelo dominated him in the second fight. But the jab... LOL

You’re right, he beat him so easily that the vast majority the public had him losing twice

    Don’t care

The public, again, had GGG winning. So Abel’s opinion is all the sudden the Gospel?

The vast majority of the public had G winning the first fight, not the rematch. More fighters and more fans in online polls had Canelo winning or the rematch a draw than they did in the first fight.

And the main reason the vast majority of the public had G winning the first fight isn't because he deserved to win the first fight, which he didn't, but rather was because the public was in an uproar over the Byrd card and it affected the perception of who actually won the fight. (since all the focus was on how bad Byrd's scorecard was and not who actually won the fight) Also the public did not expect nor appreciate Canelo for fighting off the backfoot and moving backwards in some of the rounds. This caused instinctive exaggerations to take place with how the rounds were scored. Unless you are Floyd Mayweather, winning with that kind of a style isn't easy to do especailly vs an undefeated unified champion. There's also the idea amongst some fans that you have to do more than just edge or outbox a champion when you are trying to dethrone an undefeated champion like GGG, that Canelo didn't fight the way a challenger needed to fight to win G's MW titles, that you have to take the fight to a champion and clearly beat him to win titles. (this is just something that many GGG fans believe)

So all those factors is why the vast majority of the public had G winning the first fight. If Floyd Mayweather had done to GGG what Canelo did to G in the first fight Canelo would have won. The public and especially the media hadn't been expecting that kind of a performance from Canelo. The public didn't know Canelo had the ability to put on an out boxing clinic by using footwork like that. So fans were expecting a different fight from Canelo in the first fight and nobody was prepared to score that kind of a chess match. Canelo did what you need to do to win a big fight like landing more body shots or by landing the harder more eye catching punches. And then for the rematch, a lot more of the public had Canelo winning and that's mostly because Canelo came forward and made it a toe-to-toe war like much of the public was craving from the rematch.

GGG won both fights. Shadow in denial, but he is also the guy defending canelo in the floyd fight.
