I'm torn myself, I understand a fighter has to consider his health and his life after boxing, but at the same time, I think he is a serious threat to other top HWs. Should he have one more fight???

Why the **** should he? What's happening to you all? A guy suffers one KO defeat at the hands of a KO artist and its time to pack it in exit stage left and haul ass? Jesus Christ, its not like he's not David Price level yet.

    The answer is.... Hell No.

the difference between Price and Povetkin is that Price is mentally shot, his mind is not like a mind of a winner, he isn't that old... Povetkin is 39 and that's when HWs start showing signs of slowing down.. but surprisingly,he looked as fast as ever in the first few rounds against AJ, those left hooks were like lightning.

Depends on his lifestyle. Cte is no joke & this Elite level is no joke. Every fight is potentially like being in several car crashes not to mention sparring.

If Sasha is still hungry he should call out Big Baby for a True Legacy fight. Or even the young lad Andy Ruiz, Handsome Hughie Bear fury as well

Hell no. If he loses another one, Wilder might fight him, and he will end up a champion yet.

He could go on but I think he had a good career and he's had some nice paydays. 39 is a good time to go.

That’s a ****ing negative Ghost Rider. Povetkin took on the UK’s pushed PED sponge who had a 24lb weight advantage along with a 5 inch height difference and Alexander STILL out boxed him and almost had him in the 1st.

Povetkin vs Ortiz, Wilder, Jennings, Whyte are all fun fights that a ton of people would tune into.

If he wants to earn some more money, he shouldn't retire yet.

If the desire and the will to go on is strong within him, then let him continue. I personally think he's still the #2 heavyweight. Maybe Wilder has the courage to face him now.

On the other hand if he's just going into fights for the payday and because he can do nothing else then maybe he should call it a day. Fighters tend to get messed up when the fire is no longer there.

Well nobody can deny his better days are behind him at 39 but its not like he has took a career of beatings is it. He was still very competitive against the divisions king. If his only want is to win world titles then id be telling him to not hold is breath, im sure Joshua and Hearn wouldnt be too eager to give him another shot and there is already a 3 or 4 year waiting list to become Wilders mandatory according to Wilder himself.

He has shown he's still a top level heavyweight, and would trouble or beat many of the current top 10. If he would retire now, he'll be a brutal comeback waiting to happen, missing out on a couple of his remaining better years.

If his heart isn't in it anymore he could still put on a goodbye fight for good money in Russia, going out on a high note.

Povetin's durability and conditioning is now SHOT. He is at best, a 5 round fighter if he fights at a high intensity. Against any opponent, he'll always be dangerous and have a chance at beating anybody in the first 4 -6 rounds. After that, he'd become useless.

If he fights at a very low intensity, he might be able to go 12 rounds against total scrubs and bums. But at the elite / highest level, he is totally SHOT now.

He is the smallest heavyweight compared to any of the current top 10 heavyweights (in height, weight and reach) and has the most physically taxing style compared to any of them. His style is not that of a old man's style. His style is that of a young man's. I don't think he'll offer much at the highest level anymore.

If he wants to continue making money fighting low level heavyweights, then by all means so. I wouldn't advice him against it. However, if he still wants to be a champion, then I'd advice him against it.
