How did you have AJ-Pov scored at the time of the stoppage?

Sorry if this has bee done to death; been away for a few days and haven't been able to find much chatter on this aspect in a central location.

How did you have it after 6? The official cards were pretty poor in my eyes. I had 4-2 Pov, thought he was doing very well but AJ was sensible enough to not get drawn into a fight. He was always going to fade with time to jabbing to the body was a smart move. There were some who considered Parker a bigger threat than Povetkin so I hope that's nailed that fallacy.

Goes down as AJ's second best win for me. Some slight cause for concern but he showed he is a world class finisher when he has his man hurt. Though I believe a prime Povetkin dogs him down the stretch.

I'm told the commentary was particularly awful/bias - can anyone confirm?

I had it 3-3 mate. Can see how you could have gone 4-2 though, it depends what you’re looking for. It was clear that the momentum had swung in AJ’s favour though and he was starting to dictate the fight. DAZN’s commentary was decent.

Yeah, he seemed to have that last little push in the 5th and was a bit done by then.

Ah, okay, thanks. I saw folk complaining on Twitter (I think Froch was the main culprit) but wasn't sure as I was watching it in strong Latvian.

I had Povetkin one up (scored one round even) but I thought Joshua was in the clear ascendency.

I’m a Joshua fan. That was my favourite victory of his. I’d still rate Povetkin as the current number 3 heavyweight.

I can’t have Fury yet with wins over Pianetta and Seferi and I think Povetkin beats Ortiz, Whyte, Parker.

Agree had 3-3 pov was setting a decent pace early to try and catch aj. He wouldn't have kept that up much longer at all like u said 20 bud the tide had turned. Did show however that a better boxer handles aj so long as they don't get caught with something big

I don't really score during fights, but the sky commentary was a little biased in that Froch and Smith both had AJ ahead of where he probably was. They did acknowledge that Povetkin was giving a good account of himself though.

At the KO I would've had a tie or AJ marginally ahead, but a couple of the rounds were very close and it depended what you valued more as both men were doing some things better.

I didn't like the judges scoring though...

Wasn't scoring but I'm guessing my card would have looked like 4-2 AJ. I think people are ignoring the jab he kept landing with.

Pretty much in agreement with the latter part. Him and Ortiz is a fight I'd really like to see but I suspect Sasha will knock over a can in Russia and call it quits. He's had an impressive career given his size in the division.

Canelo won. Another classic example of people seeing what they wanted to see.

There's a few people I know who watched it in slow motion afterwards, hatmanstrikesback included (yes, yes I'm waiting for the MayPac jibes) and they all scored it for Canelo. A lot of those jabs from GGG weren't landing.

I think ring side you see it differently. You see what the cleaner shots etc are. I had a friend supporting GGG and was there at the fight his immediate reaction was it was a fair result, maybe a draw but a far cry from the robbery shouts on here.

I had it 3-3 with Joshua coming on stronger.

I had it 4-2 Povetkin, I can see an argument for 3-3, and couldn't disagree. However no way in hell should AJ have been 2 up going into the 7th. Not for me anyway.

Anyone who watches fights in slow-mo is an absolute weirdo
