This content is protected Don’t say Eddie Hearn is lying either because if it were the case the Fury camp would have exposed him. They didn’t however they stayed quiet instead. This isn’t a hate thread it’s exposing this guy had several occasions to fight AJ and he turned it down but now all of a sudden a loss to Parker means he is a stylistic nightmare for AJ? Yeah right. I hope he beats Pulev and I’m picking him to do it too, however I expect AJ to ko him if he engages and beat him on points if he does he running man impression again.
Nobody wants to fight Hughie, because they don't want to catch Rabies. Can you imagine the prima donna Joshua wanting to get close to that disease bag, so close to a bodybuilding contest? He'd have to be contained to quarantine, and hosed down for weeks. This is how 28 days later started, the whole arena will be infected, lol.
I’m at work right now so don’t have the time to watch a full video but if you tell me where to scroll to I might give it a listen. But if this is one of those opinion videos from some twat boxing “expert in the know”, I’m not interested. Most people will see that Hughie’s style is a nightmare for Joshua. How is that an unreasonable view? How many slick boxers with quality footwork has Joshua boxed? He hasn’t. We don’t know how he will cope. Parker couldn’t land a glove on Hughie, yet landed flush on Joshua and almost knocked out Whyte who was left exhausted. Hughie lacked aggression but didn’t get hit at all and ended the fight in good condition against Parker. Movement and footwork was absolutely flawless in that fight. He simply didn’t thrown enough and he won’t make that mistake again.
I paid for the HF-JP fight. I thought putting it on YouTube was innovative. I enjoyed the fight! Hateration on this site is ridiculous at times. I love a good troll but all this "H Fury is sh1t and can't punch" crap is so far off. I wonder what people are actually watching at times....
Well the video kinda goes into the fights Hughie had turned down, he is just reporting more than giving his opinion, but Hatman is a well respected boxing YouTube channel, argubably one of the least biased overall imo. Hughie lost to the limited Parker who is never as good on the front foot, AJ would walk him down and I like I said Hughie doesn’t hit hard. I’ve never seen him hurt one durable fighter, he has only fought one live opponent and he’s KO percentage is already low. Fred Kassi was walking him down until the head class happened. Prime Tyson is a stylistic nightmare to AJ not hughie, he is only a nightmare to his dermatologist.
Movement like Fury's would make Joshua look bad at times, I'm certain of that. Problem Fury has is he can't win the fight with movement alone. He wouldn't sit down and throw vs Parker, can you imagine how timid he'd be in vs a genuine puncher like Joshua? Fury would dance and move, throw little, falling short with shots and leg it every time he tastes a fraction of Joshua's power and likely lose a clear decision. I like Fury, thought he was going to beat Parker and think he'll beat old Pulev but he needs to show far more mettle on the big stage than he has so far to be as a serious threat to Joshua. I hope Fury shows us something else vs Pulev and wins in emphatic fashion maybe then we can talk about him as a threat but until then he's a fringe contender.
I follow British boxing very closely. I’m aware of the Wilder, Whyte and Joyce “ducks”. The Wilder one I was critical of at the time because Peter and Hughie always used to talk about beating Mike Tyson’s record as the youngest HW world champion. I was also critical of the Whyte one because I found it a weak excuse and it was a great fight on paper but at the time Whyte tweeted something similar (I’m pretty sure of this because I remember it well). The Joyce one is not a duck because he’s taken a better fight for his career. And he definitely hasn’t turned down Joshua three times. Joshua’s fights have been such that there has always been a limited number of opponents he could have faced in each fight since he fought Whyte. There was no reason for Hughie to box Joshua early on in Joshua’s career. Then after the Martin fight, the opponents have been limited. Where exactly was Hughie lined up? Which fights? Parker, Wlad, Povetkin, Takam (after Pulev pulled out) were all primary targets. So I don’t buy this nonsense that Hughie has turned down Joshua “three times”. Even once is hard to believe. It’s pure fantasy.
Like I said many times, if he repeats the Parker performance in the future, feel free to criticise him. It was a learning fight for him. He won’t do that again and Peter wouldn’t allow it. Joshua can’t be scored down on the cards anyway from what we’ve seen and Peter is not stupid. They have to be aggressive against Joshua and they will go for a late KO in that one.
Will gave to respectfully disagree with you on this one mate, don't think he will engage enough and doesn't have the power to KO AJ. That said, always will root for a Brit and hopefully he puts on a big performance vs Pulev as could proper him into being a contender
He definitely turned down Dillian when he was making noise at one time, then Dillian responded, and somehow they backed down over excuses... If I recall correctly team Hughie didn't have enough time to prepare for a a possible bout... but Dillian was ready to fight. Don't call someone out then say you aren't ready yet... that is what Hughie and team did. Anyways... why waste our breath? We'll soon see what Hughie amounts too.
Hughie Fury is very talented fighter and im big fan of his but the problem is many people hate his family mostly because his cousin Tyson and his father Peter. Hughie seem quite different compared to his crazy family but still one of them in the end. The problem is that with that kind of hate towards the Fury family in the UK and with that fighting style of Hughie it will be very tough for him to get decisions and he has quite mediocre punch power and is moving a lot which makes it even worse instead of planting his feet and throwing some big punches. Hughie will get robbed every time if he fights on Matchroom events in the UK or any really in the US or any part of Europe prety much. So he is supposed to turn suddenly into power puncher somehow then ? How is that even remotely possible ? Such a sudden change ? Im from Bulgaria so then supposed to support Pulev in the upcoming bout with Hughie Fury but in the long run it is way better for Fury to win since Pulev already turned down or faked injury whatever against Joshua and is trying to cash out and retire and afraid of challenges since Klitschko loss. I mean Pulev doesnt want to fight Joshua even for the payday and is trying to get fight for vacant title like the way Glazkov and Charles Martin did and then Pulev can claim he is world champion and milk the title couple of fights and cash out for even more money just like Martin. At the end of the day Pulev`s style is pretty negative also and can be compared to Hughie`s but the difference is that the fight will be hosted in Bulgaria and even with neutral judges and referee blah blah Hughie might get robbed again. Saying again because some thought that he won vs Parker. For me it was very negative performance and despite the fact that i always thought that Parker is not good and yet Parker probably edged it 7-5 / 8-4 type of score just like the ones against Ruiz Jr and Takam. I actually believe that Ruiz Jr won that fight 7-5 and was robbed but still was close fight and Parker was on the receiving end of close controversial decisions not once but twice and in the UK as well which came as surprise for many.
