How did you have AJ-Pov scored at the time of the stoppage?

Just booked a week off work to rewatch Calzaghe vs Hopkins in ultra slow mo...settle it once and for all...

I had it 3-3 but might’ve been a bit harsh on AJ and given povetkin too much credit for just marching forward.

 

Yeah they are the ones who attach this 'living in mums basement' stigma to boxing fans.

 

Well there goes my weekend, i was going to watch Okolie/Askin again in slow-mo guess i wont now.

 

It was 4-2 for Povetkin clearly. If you are a Joshua fan, it could perhaps be 3-3. If you are anti-Joshua, it could have been 5-1 Povetkin but from a neutral point of view, Povetkin was clearly winning the fight.

 

I had it 3-2-1 Pov.

 

I had it all square going into what proved to be the last round but even if Povetkin survived he woupd have been well down on points, after the knockdowns.

 

Personally had it 4-1 Pov with one 10-10 round (6th)
No arguments with 4-2 or 3-3 at a push but can't see how AJ was ahead

Sky and the matchroom judges in particular are a worry going forward. It was a fabulous finish by AJ and a very good win. But I can't stand fighters getting rounds from judges they simply didn't win. We're going to witness several robberies during AJ's career in his favour, make no mistake about that! If it's against Fury I'll match to the bbbc offices and douse myself in petrol until the result is overturned

Thought big Josh was already a round up when he toasted Pov.(I don't mind a 10-10 round though and am not afraid to have more than 1 or 2 on a card)

IMO, his punches were scoring. Joshua lost the first 2 and was mainly relying on his jab.
