Ortiz manager has apparently confirmed he will be on the Fury Wilder undercard and Joyce has confirmed he will be on the same card. Will be a very interesting match up if so.

I have Joyce within 9 rounds due to fitness and punch output.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too soon for Joe. He gets KO'd in 4, and I say that as a Joyce fanboy.

Each will be fighting a carefully selected, more limited opponent.

Ortiz within 4 rounds. Even at age 56 he is way faster than Joyce.

This. Joyce is too green and makes too many mistakes. Ortiz would easily knock him out in a couple of rounds.

Too soon for Joyce. Old Man River Ortiz might be older than Methuselah's great-grandfather but Joyce still has gaping holes in his defence that he needs to work on before he moves up to the world level. Be hilarious if 5-0 (or probably 6-0 by that time) rank novice Joyce were to beat Donkey's best win, though lol

I am interested to know if Gorman and Dubois will also appear on that card, or does Warren have any other heavyweights? Arreola could be added as well, he was mentioned earlier as an opponent for Joyce.

Just guessing, but won't be surprised that several of the fights below will happen on the card:

    Wilder vs Fury
    Ortiz vs Breazeale
    Joyce vs Arreola
    Dubois vs Washington
    Gorman vs Kauffman

Joe Joyce is the man, done well going to the US and hooking up with Haymon. Respect to Ortiz for taking this fight, but Joyce beats Ortiz into retirement inside 7 rounds.

Ortiz and Joyce will be facing bums, this is Haymon after all.
    This undercard will suck.

Warren should put a card on BT sport non ppv in the run up to Fury wilder, stick gorman and dubois on that

Hope it happens. Joyce should take the fight as he doesn't really have any time to waste. Having said that, if he takes it and wins then as usual in the division, everyone starts avoiding him so maybe not?

If he beats Ortiz, he will be highly ranked, in line for an eliminator and sought after by other fighters who may think hes too green.

Too soon? Too soon? He is an experienced amateur. Nobody said Loma was 'too soon' when fighting for a world title early on did they?

Ortiz is done and finished. Joyce will eat him for breakfast. Joyce within the distance for me.

The best Joyce is now. He can't improve much more, time isn't on his side.

There is no chance in hell Ortiz and Joyce fight so this is a dead thread. If they both fight on the under card, they will both fight absolute cans for opponents.
