And the budget they did have, they recklessly spent it on mediocre fights.
 Not much to push for. They had Golovkin, Canelo, Kovalev, Super-Fly guys and... Munguia?
DAZN gets Jacobs by default. Be interesting to see who the highest bidder for Canelo is.

    I think PBC will, too.

    Canelo-Charlo, Canelo-Hurd, Canelo-Spence, Canelo-Thurman, Canelo-Other Charlo, Canelo-Mayweather II ...

And Canelo used to work for them, basically, when he was with Showtime.

Jacobs had a deal with HBO. This is his 3rd HBO appearance in the last 12 months.

Well, Kovalev is fighting on ESPN next time out. So you might be able to scratch him from the list.

Canelo was with GBP, never with Haymon. Haymon was in control of GBP but not Canelo per say.
Somehow i doubt PBC will be able to get him, unless SHO throws a delicious PPV deal at him.

Seeing as Canelo sold 1m PPVs in each of his last 3 fights, SHO might offer him a similar deal they gave Floyd. Some sort of guarantee Canelo just can't turn down.

If DAZN doesn't get Canelo, Jacobs is sort of on an island alone.

This. The only issue I think with that is determining whether there is say 5 opponents for such a deal which will guarantee the PPV numbers to get a return on investment

Yeah, and PBC/Showtime are getting into the PPV market with Wilder-Fury. Canelo would really help.

Golden Boy and PBC are enemies. But Oscar isn't exactly buds with Bob Arum, either.

Oscar may be in trouble, as well.

His only deal is with FACEBOOK.

Canelo may not be interested in fighting on freaking Facebook.

Canelo and Oscar's days together may be numbered.

From Canelo's vantage point, fighting on Showtime PPV looks better than fighting on ESPN+ or DAZN, at the moment.

I figured the whole idea of keeping Jacobs on HBO was because of Canelo and Golovkin.
I guess they will just sit by and see what happens, before making any moves.

Saunders vs Andrade is a big one. He might go after the winner.

Nope, after 45 years worth of undercard, the culmination and figurative "main event" of HBO's decades of WCB/BAD (and whatever other titles its pugilistic offerings have been imprint-branded as in the past)...is a fight that at best will be the (by a great distance) second best & most important 160lb title fight of the year.

Free agent currently, as far as TV contracts, I believe. The rematch with GGG was his last on the HBO contract.

It's better than FLYWEIGHT night, I guess.

What does this mean for The Fight Game, I wonder? ...or Legendary Nights for that matter?
