    He feasted on past prime, and no hopers. He struggled with guys like Augie Sanchez ffs when he finally stepped up to the elite level he got exposed by Barrera.

    Yeah I think he was showtime. ( at that time)
    He fought on tszyu undercards n he was showtime. Not 100% sure though.
    Was victor Ortiz HBO. They were hyping him as the next golden spatula. Still a good fighter n won a title but no goldenboy.

    Naseem Hamed wasn't a hype job.

    He beat the WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO champs, made 15 successful featherweight title defenses and he was elected to the Hall of Fame.

    Michael Grant sprung immediately to mind. They seemed to really believe he was going to beat Lennox Lewis.

    Dominick Guinn was actually pushed by HBO for about a year. So was Joe Mesi.

    Andrew "Six Heads" Lewis had a big supporter in George Foreman.

    Of course, Antonio Margarito.
