How can Joshua lose so many rounds against middle aged man who is also midget?

    Middle aged man outboxed Joshua.

    Joshua is 11 years younger, has height and reach advantage and he still gets outboxed. Imagine if Povetkin was in his prime when he won olympics, Joshua would be in trouble.

    Povetkin Olympic gold medallist who only lost one fight in the pros, anyone who watched that fight knows Wlad should've been DQ'd. He was not some bum.

    But, Joshua took some time to adjust for sure but he stuck to the plan changed his stance (leaned in) and got the job done.

    End of the day, only guy to stop Povetkin (not really a midget at 6'2, think Tyson at 5'10).

    Sacrifice a few rounds to KO ur opponent isn't such a bad tactic imo. At the end of the day it was a fairly easy nights work for AJ

    "How did Joshua knock out a previously-unstopped Olympic gold medallist whose sole previous defeat came to one of the division's most dominant champions?" I'm not a huge Joshua fan but come on, he now has Whyte, Klitschko, Parker and Povetkin on his resume after about 22 fights.

    Povetkin is a 5 round fighter nowadays. Joshua probably knew this and just waited for him to tire.

    It wasn't by choice, he wasn't allowed by Pov..He had to wait for Pov to lose steam imo

    Why even say something so absurd?
    6'2" is tall everywhere. It is not even short for HWs until recent times.
    Ali & Louis are considered the best ever & one was just under, the other a bit over 6' 2".
    So were most HW ATGs midgets or below?

    Without rules favoring shorter matches, allowing frequent clinching, & current glove sizes, maybe guys smaller overall are the most dominant.
    You erase your credibility when you say something like that re: height.

    Had nothing to do with the body work Joshua was applying? Or Joshua adapting his jab to Povetkins counters?
    I swear, some are acting as if Povetkin just decided to pack it in and give Joshua the W.

    It depends how you tell the narrative. You’ve decided to go with middle-aged midget. I prefer seasoned, elite level, hard punching, aggressive heavyweight.
