How much would Ali weigh if he weight trained the way AJ does in this era?

Look at AJ`s legs on this vid when he`s lifting leg weights.

With weight training and (what's more important) using current PEDs Ali would've probably been 230, and more ripped than 220 Ali from 70s.

That would give him additional functional weight, and therefore he'd be stronger and hit harder.

But he would stiffen and slow down, Ali was slower in the 70`s at 220, that his best performances at a lighter weight fighting heavies during his 60`s title reign.

Slower, but stronger and harder-hitting Ali. He'd lose in some areas, he'll add in another. His speed at 230 would still be better than any of today's HWs

That extra weight was fat though. And he was older as well.

Not sure he'd lose speed. Holy bulked up about 20 lbs, did he really slow down before age did the job?

Putting on weight wouldn't increase his height or reach, he would still be at a big disadvantage in those areas

Joe Louis 76" and Jack Dempsey 77" didn't seem to have much trouble reaching the chins of giants.
Ali is TOT'd variously at 79" to 82" Let's give him 80" that puts him comfortably in with the likes of
    M Spinks 76"
    Tyson71"
    Holyfield 78"
    Foreman 78.5"
    V Klitschko79"
Tyson and Holyfield seemed to do okay against the bigger guys.
Povetkin at 75"and Whyte at 78" both Gave AJ interesting evenings

I think you place too much this emphasis on this big disadvantage you mention.

Holyfield wasn`t as quick as li was in the 60`s though, the heavier Ali was the slower he was.

Tyson`s style was designed to fighting big guys, he used to lower his head level as he came in making it hard far taller guys to punch down with any power since Tyson was punching up it added power to his punches, Ali`s style was based on fighting on the edge of his punching range so he could slip moving his head slightly and counter very hard to do against a guy that has a longer reach and punches a lot. Holyfield was probably juicing to suddenly put all that weight on.

Doesn't matter about the weight....Ali would take any punch Joshua might land, whereas Ali would box his ears off, then TKO him around the 10th round.

Ali would come in at 225 for this fight.
