You always had the feeling that Groves was there for the taking and Smith was lining him up.

Indeed mate. I thought Smith was a level above in most departments, in reality he was a couple of levels above. People believe the hype. Credit to Groves too, but Callum Smith is special known it for years.

Good finish from Smith - poor fight though - neither impressed me.

Smith is going to be very difficult to beat at 168, the guy is simply HUGE.

Just watching the Smith finish again, what a finish. Great performance from him. Classy man.

Patient performance from Smith. Groves was shook up quite a few times wonder how he done the weight. Good on smith fresher and younger, bright future.

Was the fight stopped after the first knockdown?

Groves looks like he should retire, punch resistance seems to be gone.

His biggest enemy will be two things, 1 himself, he has shown he can lack motivation against fights he ain't up for, so as long as he is in with decent company u will see the best of him imo.
2nd, the weight, smw will get harder to make with every fight from now on.

Groves didn't really attempt to beat the count

Possibly being biased, but I had the fight close and though groves was doing well with the better shots...should took a knee and you could say he quit
