What weight will Wilder be for Fury?

Clearly not lacking power at that weight and this fight will require speed more than anything so i expect something similar.

Wilder should NOT be fighting anywhere near 215....

you guys have short memories as most do,Wilder was saved by the bell and getting out muscled until the 10 th round by someone who doesn't throw in volume but spurts.

Fury isn't going to let a 6'7 215 pound guy get over on him on the inside,he will rough Wilder up and if you don't think 5/10 pounds for a guy as tall as 6'7 doesn't matter your wrong.

Wilder is asking to lose if he comes under 220..in fact his lose percentage will be higher if he's not around 222.

Fury isn't Ortiz he's far quicker with punches coming back at him and quicker offensively .Wilder doesn't lose speed at any weight that weve seen bc hes already far below his height/weight ratio, he's going to need a bit more weight to at least be prepared for Furys inside game which can include leaning or holding and hitting ..etc.

In these days, 6'7" Wilder needs to be at least 225 lbs as Mr. Galvatron stated.

 

I get what you are saying but Ortiz is a bigger puncher (at least puts more weight into it) than Fury and Wilder withstood that. Fury is going to use movement and Wilder needs to be able to keep up with him and then have the stamina to take it to Fury in the 2nd half of the fight. I think Wilder at 220 should be good.

 

That sounds sensible. Although I'd be surprised if this goes long.

 

If this fight goes into the second half Fury will win.

 

anywhere between 215-225 should be ok for Wilder. Fury has less power thn Ortiz(i believe). the real question is, what weight will Fury be vs Wilder

Wilder at 214lb looked stronger than Ortiz, it's all about that speed IMO.

 

Even at 214lbs he was able to outmuscle Ortiz and even did a Wlad style wrestling throw on him prior to the first knockdown.

Someone his height should be 230lbs at least.

 

He should stay below 230 but above 220 as Fury lacks power but he has that ring smarts to make you carry his weight once on the inside. Wilder going to need to avoid that or have enough leg strength to make it through a few situations
