Callum smith dethrones George Groves? In your face southern softies!

Rocky Fielding claims the prized WBTinpot belt by beating some confused German guy that didn't look like he was the full shilling? Take that Fritz!

#necks several tabs of potent LSD

Tony bomber Bellew soon to give Usyk a boxing lesson and become undisputed cruiser weight champion of the world...

Is there anywhere in the UK that can challenge the Scouse claim to national dominance?

Can’t stand the accent (no offence anyone from there) but they’re producing good boxers

Couple good ones coming through amateurs too like Pete McGriall

    Maybe Belfast?

Ryan Burnett, Carl Frampton and James Tennyson in with a chance against Tevin Farmer. That would give them 3 world champions with a population half of Liverpool

Indeed it is. Lots of great amateur boxing clubs. The Rotunda should be appluaded, all the Smith Brothers and Tony Bellew have came out of their and many more. One of the coaches who helped bring them through is a team GB coach which makes perfect sense, good to see.

Newcastle. Ritson would kill all of them on the same night.

That's a strong claim tbh. Looks to be a cracking at atmosphere at the Belfast cards too.

Ritson has got to be one of the most likeable up and coming guys but Is there anyone else from that neck of the woods? The local guys I've seen on the undercards there haven't stuck in my memory?

I'm using a European bait also, will let you know if there's any continental tiddlers amongst the trawl.

Capital of UK sport generally. With Liverpool smashing it in football right now and Liverpool’s Sir Steven Gerrard taking Rangers back to where they belong.

@Holler you’re forgetting our WBC silver middleweight belt holder...the one and only Martin Murray! :)

Special mentions to other ‘never in a dull fight’ boxers, Sean Dodd, David Price, Robbie Davies Junior...apologies to anyone missed off. My favourite though out of the lot is Liam Smith....underrated, solid fundamentals and huge heart. He genuinely loves being in an absolute war, dripping with claret, face marked up but smiles away.

Sorry but that close to the Watford gap counts as honorary Scouser. Saunders is yours however as a gesture of goodwill x
