He should dress as the hooded claw from wacky racers. Kugan is missing a trick, he should bring a cape, mask and hat along to his next interview and get Eddie wearing it.

What did he take has that been confirmed? Are we talking over the counter or prescription?

If he told me the sun is a mass of incandescent gas I'd not believe him.

I'd applaud his musical reference however.

It's in a lot of dietary supplements. It shouldn't be but because the supplement industry isn't regulated they can do what they like and throw in anything to improve their products efficacy and not put it on the label.

It's possible that Saunders didn't knowingly dope and he simply took a dietary supplement that had ingredients not listed on the label. But a fighter is still responsible for what he puts in his body and taking any supplement comes with a risk of failing a test. In this day and age any athlete should know better.

While we are on the topic, it's very strange that only one Matchroom fighter ever has failed a drugs test, and that was Kenny Anderson. Correct me if I'm wrong. Galahad, Whyte etc weren't with Matchroom at the time.

Let's not live in fantasy land and pretend that certain promoters/advisors haven't used their clout to manipulate drug test results. This doesn't mean the guilty party was innocent by the way, just that they've had their test comeback positive when it would otherwise show negative through whatever means. Wilder Povetkin is an example. That fight was NEVER going to be allowed to happen. Wilder Ortiz was very strange too. Ortiz failed a drug test so in stepped Stiverne which itself was an obvious fixed fight to garner Wilder some momentum. During that fight, they were panning the camera before and after to Ortiz in the crowd with the broadcast team heaping praise after praise on him which was strange considering the stigma against PEDs. They were treating him like a superstar. Shortly after that, it was said that it was a genuine mistake by Ortiz in taking blood pressure medication so he was clear to fight Wilder next, conveniently another 6 months older. I was under the impression at the time that Ortiz's camp were in on it as they were all suspiciously comfortable about the situation, and im sure they were well compensated. That was part of the reason I thought Ortiz was gonna take a dive, but he clearly didn't. Regardless, the whole thing stunk.
