Why is James Degale fighting a 147lb fighter?

People hate on ebuank jr and i dont know why, he is truely humble! Degale is a p.os and i been in training sessions with both

 

Because DeGale is a diva ***** plain and simple.

 

Eubank talks a big game, but doesn't have much talent. That is why people hate on him.

De Gale has a hell of a lot of miles on clock from tough fights, and has also not lived the life inbetween his fights.

So he cannot be criticised for facing a cream puff at this stage. Truax was meant to be an easier fight and look what happened there.

Good advice for him would be 2 cream puff opponents, then one retirement fund fight. I actually think Groves vs De Gale is the best one out there for him as a final fight for both.

Even worse he’s dragged this welterweight to 172 pound catch weight.

 

to be fair to him, he is rebuilding after a fall from grace against lesser fighters, which followed a very genuine attempt to build a solid world title defence record.

Dropping the IBF was out of character for him, gotta wonder if theres something genuinely wrong with him for that.

DeGale ought to sort out his wiki page - it reads that hes fighting 8 round welter cream puff journeyman in the paragraph after saying hes "pursuing bigger fights".

It reads ridiculously. Kinda sums up Degale, hes bad with publicity even though he tries as much as anyone to deliver the goods.

 

I don't agree with you on this point. I fuvg full respect to James for taking those hard fights on the road regardless of him vacating. It's unfair not to, the danagd he took in those fights is a big part of the reason why he dropped his belt.
