    Gutiérrez is calmly moving to his left and laying the outstretched tip of his jab in Duarte's face, keeping him fixed in place at ideal range. Duarte jabs into the left forearm a few times and drives up a right hand, grazing the cheek, but Gutiérrez turns with it and resumes orbiting and controlling the action with his jab. Duarte falls in taking a couple of abductive swipes at the body. Gutiérrez's jab by far the most consistently and solidly landing weapon in either man's arsenal throughout in this first three minutes.

    Gutiérrez is lumping swift double jabs and 1-2-3s into the guard as he steps laterally around Duarte, but is quickly chased back with spearing rights up top and body combos. Duarte is catching shots on a high guard walking the taller Gutiérrez down and dashing in suddenly when he throws rights or unloads downstairs while cutting off Gutiérrez's escape route. Gutiérrez still cleverly stepping diagonally clear of harm's way, mostly, and feeding out jabs.
