If Lennox survives a shot, he wins on points. Otherwise Joshua has the power to stop Lennox and to catch Lennox, and Joshua has good punch resistance too, to weather an attack.

As long as it isn't the sloppy Lennox Lewis that comes in blowing out of his arse, then no question Lennox stops AJ IMO.

If Lewis didn't have him out of there in 7 rounds I would be very surprised .

Depends on whether or not LL comes in after a semi-decent camp. He was upset by opponents he looked past. Would he look past Joshua? Prob not and so prob dominates this fight en route to a KO win.

Prime LL was one of the best ever (for me, anyway :))!

Joshua still improving but got it all to prove to get to LL's level.

    LL all day!

All of these guys had the power to stop Lennox as well
    and yet couldn't..........

    ruddock
    bruno
    tucker
    briggs
    mercer
    grant
    tua
    botha
    tyson
    Vitali
    golota

Lennox was skilled enough to evade most fighter's offense but
tough enough to take what he had to take. Joshua couldn't outbox
with Lennox, nor could he go to war with him.

ruddock ----------- one dimensional, AJ isn't, he has multiple shots in his arsenal, and he can adapt to any fighter style/height from takam (short) to parker (speed) to povetkin (explosive/great skill/speed)

bruno----------------- Useless, one dimensional, muscle bound, just power and size
    tucker
briggs --------------- briggs wasn't as sharp as AJ when he fought Lennox, he lacked combinations and any real commitment to his punches.

    mercer
    grant
tua ----------------- way too short, why even bring Tua up against a genious of range like Lennox, AJ is 9 inches taller! 12 inch reach!!! BIg difference.

    botha

tyson -------------- Tyson had a certain style, he was quite one dimensional against taller opponents.. and he was outclassed by Lennox because when you get pushed back at the end of a jab by a much taller guy you struggle if you don't have a game plan like Povetkin. AJ Hit's as hard as Tyson, and is 9 inches taller and 12 inches more reach, massive difference,

Vitali ------------- this is a good example, and it got stopped early let's be real... Vitali was competitive.... but Vitali is similar to Wladimir... too robotic, not enough crisp combinations, not enough explosiveness... vitali was a stalk and jab/cross guy.... and it was effective up until Lennox where you needed counter and snazzy combinations like Povetkin throws.

    golota

As a complete boxer, Anthony Joshua is better than many of these guys, and he's physical attributes will nullify any physical advantages Lennox typically had with his opponents.

AJ punches better than many of the guys you listed... I struggle to find heavy weights who land as crisp as AJ. He's technique is FLAWLESS. Perfect rotation of the knuckle, full extension, good speed, good angle... it lands BANG ON.

Vitali slapped a lot, like Wlad, and Dillian Whyte and many others.

AJ Power is undeniable, and he has great punch resistance to have weathered all Povetkins best shots and took KLITCHKO'S BEST CROSS!!! And got up in good time.

As you already should know, POWER is the last thing to go in a fighters arsenal, regardless of age.

AJ would put Lennox through his paces,if they both fought at the same age AJ is now.

It would go down similar to Klitcko fight, AJ would land at some point with devastating combinations upstaris and downstairs.... give me a good example of a Lennox opponent who had great body shots.. instead of head hunting...

And AJ would weather Lennox punches just like he did with Dillian, Povetkin, Klitchko.

He would find he's ranger because Lennox does not move around like Parker did.

    AJ = 6'6.5 82 inch reach
    Lennox = 6'5 84 Inch reach

AJ will find the range, and counter.

Lennox is possibly the greatest heavy weight of all time, taking into account his physical attributes as well, as a complete package.

There was a time I would say Lennox would wipe the floor with AJ, but AJ has grown, and he has shown us what he is capable of today.

The AJ we saw in 2018 would put Lennox through he's paces, no doubt.

AJ was not even troubled by Povetkins Punches yet those punchs would knock out 90% of all heavies

I don't rate Lennox Lewis as highly as some other people, he is basically the GOAT of the General Forum...lol.

That being said i would pick a prime Lennox Lewis to beat Joshua but it wouldn't be easy at all.
