Look I know he's 40 - 0 and there's a hell of a lot of KO's (39!!) on his resume, but who has he actually beaten of any note?
Luiz Ortiz - check, Stiverne x2 - check, Duhaupas er ok - check, Audley Harrison - now wait a minute!!
Listen, I know it's Heavyweight boxing and kudos for his record and he's definitely got dynamite in his windmills and all that, but who has he actually beaten in 40 fights.
Is he the real deal or is Fury going school him and teach the art of the sweet science?

well, his power is real, but his skill is very limited. So seeing as heavyweight is less about skill and more about power, and his best win came against a skilled operator, who was outboxing him before being stopped, i lean on the side that he is the real deal.

    Hes definatley a champion.

Who hes defended against is another question and how he conducts himself luckily for him is not relevant to holding a belt bc he talks nonsense and lies.

Wheather hes the real deal or not doesn't change fury should win this fight.

I believe Wilder could defeat many past, current guys but you have to use the HOPE he lands the shot bc ....that's how he wins so one has to assume MUCH more when comparing this guy to actually taking ability of the fighter itself bc he gets by on knock outs to guys he eventually catches.

Basically hes likea comic book character, hes unbeatable if you make him out to be so his fanboys will always have that IF he stays undefeated... .lol

I like this game, so if Wilder starches Fury and AJ they basically got beaten by a chump..........if and when that happens I will bump threads like this relentlessly

He has officially got the WBC belt, you cant argue with that fact so it is quite clear the answer is he is 100% both. Listen to the man talk, hes talking utter nonsense and half the time even he doesnt know what he is saying. Look at how he acts, he acts like a chump, BOMMMBBSSSQQAAAAAAADDD. And above everything, THAT MASK. What a chump. Buts hes a champ too.

The Ortiz win showed he wasn't just some pretender paper champion, he's clearly a top heavyweight. But that doesn't necessarily mean he will beat Fury. Even legit champions lose.

Somewhere inbetween. Hasn't fought enough elite oppostion and come away with the win to consider him a champion in every sense of the word but has still knocked out 39 out of his 40 opponents and despite not necassarily facing the best available competition, there are still a couple of notable B and C grade names on his record, rendering it somewhat difficult for me to think of him as a chump. IIdeally, if he can beat Fury and one more credible opponent (ideally AJ, Whyte or Povetkin) then I would hold his status as champion in greater esteem than I do currently.

I think if he beats Fury then Whyte should be his next opponent.
Beat Fury and Whyte then he can start acting Billy Big Bollocks in the negotiations with AJ.
Lose to Fury and I think his game is up!

BombZquad, wtf is that all about!! There's more to be a champ than holding a belt and yelling like a Banshee. Reminds me of Chisora a few years back - without the belt of course!

    Neither

He's a beltholder, and to my surprise over the years he's proven to be an above par one.
