It was WWE style crap, wilder was trying to be funny and fury was just shouting on as usual. I don't know why I put myself through such a load of shite.
The script was followed and we all knew the ending before it started and the direct comments about buying the PPV really cringeworthy. Paul Dempsey lost control and looked like he was seething towards the end. The PPV mugs will be reeled in again.
Just out of interest do you know the actual attendance record?? Cos i was there and no way was there 80k there...there was alot of people but alot of empty seats still.
I do like how BT set the whole thing up though. Didn't look naff as I thought it would as Frank is co promoter.
Quite simple really, not the biggest crowd but the biggest name/s. Fury and Wilder have both stepped up to do it. Who has Joshua got coming up next, probably Whyte who he has already beaten yet will be hyped up to the hilt as some megafight. Yes this will draw a big crowd but do you really think this is a big Fight? Bigger than Wilder who he could have fought but chose or was advised not too. Come on man you know where this is going. Joshuas credibility is shot right now.
When I went to Wembley to watch Froch v Grives there was around 10,000 empty seats, which makes sense as the stadium seats 90,000 in the stands plus whats on the pitch.
Thought it looked really good. I am sure someone will point out to me why it was not as slick as Sky, as there seems to be a load of Part Time TV Producers residing in this forum. The actual backdrop was really good.
BT look to be doing a proper job. The BoxNation rip offs of the gloves are off look poor and it’s hard to achieve that because it’s just 3 men sat at a table! But yeah BT know their stuff and doing it proper.
Looked good, wrong presenter though, genuinely looked like he was getting annoyed, need some charismatic who call with the punches of both
What a load of BS how is this a step up for Wilder ? It's casual bullocks going around that Fury is the bona fide number 3 in the division and the truth is this version is nowhere near the top 10 , truth is both of these clowns could have and should have been the a side in a Joshua fight but both bottle it constantly.
BT set up today was extremely slick and original - very impressive indeed. As we know, they’ve already got the technical stuff nailed down with their PPV channel...Sky have now got themselves a real fight on their hands long term to keep control of the market. BT have also got phenomenal potential to reach customers through their Broadband services and EE and now the football. This is what makes it difficult to predict what this fight can do numbers wise. I would be surprised if it doesn’t break 500k even at 4am.
