Who do you think of the current crop would benefit from their being another 3 rounds in championship fights?

    Answers on a postcard please.

Usyk, Lomachenko... a lot of the smaller guys in general. Parker would have KO'd Whyte had their fight been a 15 rounder.

Hard to say since no one trains for 15 rounds

I would favor most defensive fighters and counter punchers to benefit over the more aggressive and volume based punchers who would have a bigger chance of tiring

I think a change to 15 rounds wouldnt effect guys like say Lomachenko, Garcia, Rigondeaux though many might not want that, etc

Do you think the likes of Spence and Thurman would fade down the stretch? Would we see a lot of KOs in those last 9 minutes?

Spence definitely. He's very patient, got a decent tank (Enough for 15 rounds, just) and he doesn't waste stamina. Not to mention he's a big puncher so going 15 would really help him to break down some of the tougher guys at welter and light-middle.

Loma obviously, just to avoid any shady decisions and make sure it's so wide they can't go against him.

And I know this will be very argumentative but...Chris Eubank Jr. You can't doubt the man's stamina can you? Again, like spence those extra 3 rounds will allow him to break down fighters more and get the KO's he needs to win fights. We all know if the Groves fight goes 15, those last 3 are absolute hell for Groves.

Hard to say, nothing I have seen in their fights indicates that either have a stamina problem but again this adds 9 more minutes to the fight.

I think you may see it deter certain weight climbing given you fight the bigger man over a longer fight

and it may lead to heavyweights trimming down a little more

I think it might discourage some of the extreme weight cutting we're seeing these days too. And that would be a good thing.

All depends on the opponent. Wilder tends to look like he has HEAPS in the tank in the 12th, dancing around and throwing windmills at whoever makes it that far (basically no one).

Parker had a bit too much left in the tank in the 12th against Dillian Whyte, and that was a fairly high output fight.

Carlos Takam, Oleksander Usyk, Gennady Golovkin are all guys who have pretty impressive engines - but like in all cases it depends on who or what they are up against.

i was going to mention that but didnt but that is true but that might be more of a discussion about 30 day weigh ins, day of the fight or next day cut offs
