Shot old Pianeta was landing on Fury and not just once. Wilder, as much as I pee on him, is two levels above him. He's GOING to win by KO and they'll be wiping Fury's slobber off the front row of seats. Fury needs more time to get back into shape because he's looking very beatable and not just by Wilder.
I'm gonna agree with MVC on this. Prime Fury schools Wilder into a crying befuddled wreck as those windmills are made to miss by a mile. But this Fury based on his last fight is not so elusive - not even close. Against the Italian Plank Fury was backing up in straight lines and basically making simple defensive mistakes. Clearly he will be better for this fight - but it won't be close to prime Fury. I can see Wilder having a frustrating time for a few rounds but eventually landing in rounds 6-8 for a ktfo. I might even, for the first time ever, put a few quid on Hybrid.
And if it goes to the cards Fury is NOT getting the decision. The powers in boxing will not let Fury ruin AJ-Wilder showdown (with a possible rematch). I see this fight ending in a draw actually if Fury makes it competitive and survives.
Joe Louis was more game and a top notch elite when he faced Rocky Marciano, Fury at this stage is several miles below elite, a drug addict and formerly obese mentally disturbed individual, Wilder now will knock him out all the way back to Caravan Island.
Fury will give Wilder fits. If he can't KO fury within the first 10 rounds, fury mwill win a decision . The only thing I give to wilder is althletisim and explosive power. Fury beats him in everything else.
I can't help but see Fury dancing rings round Wilder and often making him look foolish and unskilled.... right up until the point he gets violently knocked out....
Fury will be more up for it, and in better shape than he has been in his two previous outings so we shouldn't really use those fights as a yardstick on how he will perform against Wilder. I don't think that Fury's quite the boxer that some people make him out to be but he's still a lot better technically than Wilder.
