Why are they still going on about Joshua and Hearn?

Whatever haha. What if Wilder loses to Fury? Or does Eddie know something we don't?

Probably a lot. From my years of being a fan I've come to notice the boxing fraternity is not very tight lipped among the family.

Ok. But let's look at it from a different angle: Add up Wlad's lifetime life attendance. How many people showed up to see Wlad fight over his entire career?

Let's call that the bs angle ! Wlad had 69 fights 29 world title fights AJ had 22 fights 7 title fights hardly makes a decent comparison does it !

Gate revenue matters more than attendance numbers.

Selling a lot of tickets because they are cheap, while putting it in a venue that can seat the people that will buy the cheap tickets, doesn't really mean more than selling out a venue with significantly higher ticket values.

Having higher attendance, because youve got a larger venue combined with lower ticket prices, isnt really something to boast about.

Many fights could have much larger attendance had they catered to that desire.

Intersting that if it's so easily done every British world champion isn't selling out Wembley I guess Fury has had relatively low attendance throughout his career cos he charges a grand a ticket

It shows Wlad's longevity and massive drawing power. He sold insane amounts of live gate tickets throughout his career. Wouldn't shock me if he was in the top 10 of all boxers in history rivaling of a couple of the 1920s/30s eta icons who filled 80k venues regularly. Someone ever see some historical stats on this?

I get they are being asked about it but I've watched both pressers so far and most the comments and digs at Joshua and hearn have come in dibella and finkels opening statements. No questions asked at that point in proceedings.

It's just so weak and considering Finkel and dibella are time served agents working at the top level it just all feels amateur and desperate, like this whole fight was put together just to get some point out there about a fighter who isn't even involved in this fight.

I just checked IFL TV's youtube page and 25 of the videos they've uploaded in the last day have been about Wilder vs Fury. Three of those are Fury arriving at press conferences or the full PC's themselves, leaving 22 other vids uploaded. Eight of which have either Joshua, Hearn or Joshua & Hearn in the title putting them down. Close to have the content they've uploaded for Wilder vs Fury are videos talking about Joshua & Hearn, that's just sad.

Because they're getting asked about them in every interview ?

Wilder even recently said that he doesn't want to talk about Joshua anymore.

Surely IFL have to take the majority of the blame for that though?

They take the decision on what they make into a clip and how they title it. In this caseas in my post above the choice is determined by commercial reality. Stick AJ or Hearn's name on the title and you drive up clicks and therefore revenue.

AJ and Hearn are box office and the more they can be woven into the narrative of this fight (are you listening Kellerman) the better it will likely do at the box office.

So expect more of the same, both from the two camps and the media reporting on them.

How does questioning whether it really happens or not harm it in any way? Personally i think Hearn should of said it once if he really believed it and then shut his mouth about it and let what ever events unfold. But him having any thoughts on it is not going to impact one little bit on whether it happens or not. If anything his words have prob strengthened everybodys will to make sure it happens.

Stop talking **** you dumb *******. Wlad was a huge ticket seller but his total revenue was **** all. AJ is a huge ticket seller but his total revenue is also **** all.

Canelo has never sold as many tickets as AJ but he pisses all over him in ever category.

Stop chatting **** and **** off you clueless little *****.
