Juggernaut was 900 pounds in the comics ( slight belly) and held it well for his height, maybe weighed with armor on too?

Joyce weighing 263 is o.k considering....hes the juggernaut and anyone carrying that name is usually dangerous no matter the weight .

Kind of weird how everyone is hating on the guy so much considering his extremely fast tracked career trajectory. He mauled the guy who cleanly established himself to be better than Dave Allen in 2 lopsided rounds and he only has a half dozen fights, yet you still see plenty of people swinging off Allen's nuts saying how great he'd be if he only did this and that.

Joyce actually throws very good short chopping shots when he wants...his win over Lenroy would show that with an ending left hook nobody even saw until the replay as he walked away.

Hes slow but that's about it if your looking for major holes in his game .He has weaknesses in defense too but if anything costs him a fight it will be speed not skills.

Getting hit too much isn`t going to cause him to lose?!

    Hasn’t been trained properly???

I don’t think you know how difficult it is to get try outs for team GB and even if you get given the chance those guys up in Sheffield put you through your paces for a couple of days, you have to be Extremely fit! And if they don’t like the look of you they’ll say no thanks.

Joyce and Bruno were properly trained believe me

He could still punch you in the face and break your ankle though, and he still have people bringing him up decades after his retirement from boxing.

They said the same thing about Audley Harrison, winning at the oympics over 3 rounds doesn`t mean you can win over 12 rounds, amateur`s try to win a fight in three rounds throwing loads of punches, a completely different kettle of fish, this guy is no Loma.

So what your saying is that Joyce will be remembered decades from now but will never be world champ?

    Possibly.
And is that so bad? Many big names in boxing never held a belt, while smaller names did..

Getting hit to much is a result of being slow, not improper defense.

Your post is about punching not defense ,all around hes very skilled even with wide shots thrown in bc they are very accurate, being slow could be his size, genetics and or anything in between...what he has though is very good timing which tricks fighters into thinking they wont get hit and the amount he throws at them makes it very difficult ,you have to hurt this guy or be a top elite boxer to out box him for 12 rounds without getting hurt yourself.
