Easy work for Joyce, should be over in 5 rounds.

Easy work was exactly the phrase I was going to use.

done inside 3, good name for Joyce, but not the greatest of tests. but for his 7th fight, i have no real complaints about it

Great opponent for Joyce, really gets those ranking points up and with a win he could be 1-2 fights away from that title shot.

Washington isn’t ranked in the top 15 by any organisation. He’s a solid name but
Joyce needs to be targeting a Breazeale, Wallin, Jennings or a Kabayel. All easy nights work for Joyce but catapult him right up there in the rankings.

A fight with Jennings would’ve made more sense, still not a bad fight.

I know everyone says Joyce doesn’t have time on his hands but I don’t see him beating any of the current champions

Joyce is a brutal KO waiting to happen. The worse defence I’ve ever seen and when you get hit by a 10oz glove rather than a quilted pillow it puts you to sleep. Over hyped and totally unmarketable! Seems a nice kid though tbh but will get totally destroyed by even someone like Chisora imo.

Thought they would have fed him Kevin Johnson by now

He’s a bit of a conundrum is Joyce. By all accounts he’s a good solid boxer, Frazer Clarke who regularly spars with AJ was asked on Instagram who his toughest fighter is he’s fought or sparred and he said Joyce! But then look at Kuzmin blasting out Joyce in the ams but then losing a points decision to AJ. So he’s a bit misleading and He’s been slightly underwhelming since turning pro so I just don’t know how far he can/will go.

Seen him live and I cringe with his slow hooks and open chin. He’s a machine no doubt but that alone won’t win you world titles. But ye I agree a complete throw back so let’s see.

I'm pleased with the fight. Solid test, decent name on the resume and exposure to the American audience. Could set him up nicely for next year

    Hardly a "kid " anymore.
