I'll take the word of "Lou Di Bella" over the opinion of "BoxingABC1", thanks for your valued input to the thread though. Cheers.

    it's not my opinion, it's a fact.
If DiBella said Chisora was p4p number 1, it doesn't mean he's right just because he's in boxing

Where has Di Bella said that about Chisora? The only person I've ever read say that is "BoxingABC1" whos opinion I would disregard out of hand off the back of such an outlandish claim.

It's lineal title you twit. There's no such thing as a linear title and certainly not both linear and lineal.

Agree with this, the winner leapfrogs AJ to the number 1 spot.

The proven use of PEDS disqualifies him from any claim to such title or status anyway.

Linear is not interchangeable with Lineal in the context of boxing champions, and I noticed that mistake from the announcer and chuckled.

Are you seriously (relatively) comparing a Tyson Fury with a man who didn't (and was never good enough) to win a grand slam in a 14 year pro career or even good enough to reach the final? Why would anyone make that comparison...

Ah, cos you don’t like him....

I’ll be honest, I don’t care much for all this lineal nonsense. It’s just a tag line that promoters can use to sell a fighter to a more casual audience. Proper boxing fans know how good Tyson Fury is & his past achievements. This is exciting times for heavyweight boxing...the rivalry between Wilder, Joshua and Fury. This is what makes legacies.

No because he's a one hit wonder Tiger Woods didn't become a great because he won the Masters once then had his breakdown he's a great because he became No1 and stayed No1 and won and won and won , Fury doesn't need to get to Woods level to be highly respected but he does need to do a fair bit more to be taken seriously as the man of his era the blokes more panto star than pro boxer since he won a world title.

He didn’t have one pro fight. He had 24 fights were he boxed his way into a mandatory position where the main man couldn’t avoid him. So he wasn’t a one hit wonder. He started a 7 year journey, eventually earning his right to fight for the title, then went to Germany and did it without even a bruise or a cut to show for it.

You can criticise him for not defending it and instead losing the plot, going into a deep depression and putting on 9 stone in lard. What you’re trying to say though is that it was a fluke, that he just got lucky, Klitschko had a off night and all the other nonsense I hear getting spouted about. It simply isn’t true.

Just for arguments sake, even if Fury beats Wilder (which I believe he will) then AJ is still number 1. He has all the other belts. Whoever has the most belts is number 1 for me.

    Summed up perfectly Twenty.
Too many haters on both camps tossing logic aside and subsequently coming out with some right old tosh.

Thanks mate. I’m loving it all, it’s exciting times for the British in the heavyweight division. It used to be amazing even if we had one fighter to pin our hopes on for challenging for a world title. We’re spoilt at the minute.

The yips...what evidence is there for this? I’ve heard some excuses for him losing to Fury but that’s a new one.
