No one dominant guy but lots of really good ones. I'd say Jones vs. Toney 1 was arguably the biggest MW fight of the decade.
It's a crying shame that those guys didn't stay in the division for a prolonged period and all fight each other.
I thought the fight was at SMW? But both were talented MW's , just not sure how long either fought at that weight to be considered dominant. Seems their best/most title fights were at SMW.
I thought he moved up in 92. He beat Barkley in 90. I know what you mean, he wasn't there long. Actually, by the time Hopkins won the belt, most of those guys had either moved out of the division or retired. It's a shame. The first 2 years of the decade were the hottest.
