GGG can get his redemption or just take a hell of a beating

 

Actually the WBC are trying to protect Canelo from the dangerous, low-reward, Charlo fight. They don't care about Golovkin per se.

 

They never cared about him to begin with that’s why they allowed Cotto and Canelo to suck him, they allowed Martinez to duck him. They backed Canelo in the meat scandal and they are now having him face Charlo which is annoying coz Canelo gets a voluntary but is good for the fans who wanna see that fight.

 

No. He lost to Floyd but beat Lara and GG tho..

I agree and I think he should. What a bunch of BS by the WBC. Charlo should be getting a title fight against Canelo. But El Pollo doesn't want that. He wants to be champ but he wants to be protected and fight chumps.

I don't believe those actions are suggesting he's being played as a gatekeeper.

 

GGG 3 will be big money and is less dangerous than facing the winner of Jacobs/Dero, IMO.

Honestly, I think Jacobs poses big problems for Canelo.

 

This is 100% fair. I had Jacobs edging him, perhaps a draw. I had GGG winning the first fight against Canelo, but narrowly, and Canelo narrowly winning the second, perhaps a draw.

I have yet to have GGG decisively winning a fight against an elite level MW. TBF, I don't have him losing one big, either.

 

why does it surprise anybody the WBC is the 2nd most corrupt after the wba… plus the WBC has a reputation of always being nice/ defending the fighter who makes the most cash. sad really.

 

It’s strange how I hurt so many feelings with my optimistic statement regarding his career.
