As you infer, you are quite right - 28year old Charlo has no elite wins yet. Though to be fair, 36 year old 3G has no elite wins yet, we must be balanced in our appraisal.

Over the next 8 years (2018-2026), Charlo must face one elite and either draw or win to have a better h2h resume than 3G.

GGG has no elite wins? I certainly class Jacobs as a elite win. Despite not officially getting the wins against Canelo I'd argue he should of won both fights.

whilst jacobc mightbe elite one day, hes shown he is a contender, and being that isnt an elite. Elite transcends titles, or close. With an elite you can usually safely assume that the guy can win a world title.

Jacobs has yet to reach that level, he is the category below, a good contender.

That Trout robbery was a ****ing travesty. But no one talks about this because they don't care about Trout.
Trout beat his ass. Same with Jermell. The Jermell fight was even worse.

When Trout fought Alvarez, everyone had to weigh in on the decision.
When Alvarez fought Lara, everyone weighed in on the decision.

Yet no one mentions Lara-Cintron or Lara-Williams(thankfully some action was taken by the commission after the fight).
No one cares about Trout vs Charlo twins. But i bet the moment either steps into a high profile fight, the detractors will bring up Trout.(not that many saw either fight)

Based on what? Him running GGG closer than people expected? Who has Jacobs ever beat?

 

It's actually very rare for any boxer to beat an elite fighter. Most elites do not fight each other. Or wait until one is on the decline. And there is just not that many elites anyways.

Did Ricky Hatton ever beat an elite fighter? He lost to Pac and Floyd badly, especially to Pac. He stopped a shot JLC. He stopped an old Tszyu. And who did Tsyzu ever beat? His best win by far is Judah.

It's actually pretty damn rare for anybody to beat an actual elite fighter.

 

But he didnt say that he hasnt beat an elite, YOU DID - so that you could create a fake counterargument under the pretence he said that.

In fact, its the previous OP who is claiming that someone HAS an elite win! And you are defending them! You are arguing against your pal you were trying to defend!
