Bowe shows a nice jab and an uppercut, and defensive maneuvers like parrying and ducking.

Extraordinary waste of talent. Minus chin and footwork, had everything else

He could be tagged but fought back, he had heart. Agreed, a waste, wicked skills for a big man and a h2h monster at his best

Lands a jab , slips two coming back. I thought Bowe looked great against Coatzer who was a pretty decent boxer.. Watch how bad he made Frank Bruno look one fight later.

I always liked Bowe. Hated Rock Newman though.
Bowe just doesn't get the credit he deserves.
I had him winning the 2nd Holy fight. If he would have got that call he retires undereated.
Damn impressive fighter with a great inside game. Poor work ethic for sure and he has no one to blame but himself for that. Exceptional talent

I'd also recommend to watch another somewhat obsure Bowe's fight - vs Larry Donald. Donald, an underrated boxer with nice jab and footwork, was completely schooled by Bowe, his jab didn't work against Riddick.

Coetzer brought very little to the table and Bowe still found him problematic... until he started going low.

He had a very good chin which kinda had its drawbacks because it meant he was willing to take far more shots than was healthy for him. All those hards shots soon took its toil on him and his career.

Coetzer looked like a cross between Jerry Quarry and Boston Tom McMustache.
