    This will be the last fight broadcasted live on HBO. This bookends a tradition begun with Frazier vs. Foreman I, more than 45 years ago.

    (the second to last will either be Alberto Machado vs. Yuandale Evans or Heather Hardy vs. Shelly Vincent II, depending on which makes co-featured status)

    The vacant IBF middleweight title will be on the line. Derevyanchenko is rated #1 and Jacobs #3 (with the spot between, #2, currently unoccupied).

    Well according to Ring magazine they could air Munguia on dec 8 in LA and Bivol vs Smith in november.

    Cant see Hearn allowing any of his fighters on any platform but Dazn for the forseeable future. He's got too many dates to fill.

    Derevyanchenko will stop Jacobs, he's stylistically all wrong for Danny, he's able to get inside with the greatest of ease, and land in combination while in there, Jacobs, who's been a little too confident in trading with opponent since the GGG match, so thinking he can get the best of him, will let him in a little too easily. Sergey is great at varying up the speed on his shots, so while in a dogfight with Jacobs he'll throw a fastball that Danny isn't expecting, and... he's not getting up Jim, that's right, he's been knocked out.

    Well I've gone for Jacobs on points but he's not looked all that great in his last two fights and this:

    Makes a good case. I'll stick with my choice but not with a massive amount of confidence... :(

    Cool, well, with all due respect to Mundo Smith and Takeshi Inoue those would be a couple of non-competitive squash matches. So either way October 27th is the last real HBO event with a pick 'em main event.
