    They are remaking A Star Is Born again? I hate when they remake the classics.

    Venom kind of looks like **** though. Got a meta score of 33. Maybe go see Crazy Rich Asians instead.

    Negrete is landing uppercuts with the left and right, mostly skimming the guard. Franco now throwing 1-2-1-2s, mostly skimming Negrete's guard. Back and forth. More clinching now, both tired. After the break Negrete is the one charging in behind a jab. Heavy rights looped into the body by Franco. Negrete slamming the hook into the back of Franco's left wrist, aiming for his chin as Franco keeps it burrowed deep into his neck. Wide slapping shots by Negrete as he crowds in on Franco, converted into light pendulums on the navel. They're grinding together, playing reverse tug-of-war, and Franco shoves Negrete off while grazing with an uppercut. Big flurry by Franco at the bell after blocking a couple from Negrete.

    Lady Gaga in the Gaynor/Streisand role, Bradley Cooper in the Kristofferson/March.

    As for Venom, it was my favorite comic in my teens, and I've been a raging Tom Hardy fanboy as long as he's been around - so even if the movie does suck, it'll be a fun couple of hours of popcorn-munching guilty pleasure schlock for me.
