Would Amir Khan have done better vs Eubank Jr than he did against Canelo?

I feel Khan could have done better vs Eubank because he can jab better than him so Eubank couldn`t exploit any reach advantage that might exist, Eubank throws the jab with his arm bent, has no head movement so would be hit more by than Canelo and he can`t deal with movement as well as Canelo can. How many rounds would Khan last?

Unfortunately I don't see Khan lasting much longer. In fact Eubank Jr. might end Khan faster, since Eubank Jr. isn't a cautious counterpuncher like Canelo and most likely would run over Khan the minute he didn't feel any power coming from Khan despite Khan having superior skill. BJS and Groves had enough power to keep Eubank Jr. honest.

The press conference between these two would be hilarious. Jr's endless chatter about how he's the best middleweight of all time interspersed with Khan rambling on about how he actually beat Canelo and Prescott, and how the Mayweater/Pacman rematch is a qualifier for fighting him next.

The problem with Amir Khan is his chin would be hit and he would be knocked out. He just cannot take a punch.. Similar to Jermaine Taylor. They have great skills and then don't have a fight plan. Use the skills to win the rounds and hit but not get hit. Don't just use the speed to hit guys and not think about defense.

Eubank would not have been able to knock Taylor out though.

    The correct answer is no.

Groves held on for dear life and the ref never penalised him. Khan doesn't have the strength to do that.

Khan won every round against Canelo before the hail mary punch nailed him. No way he does better than that. Ffs Sam Vargas won more rounds against Khan than Canelo did!!!

147 pounder David Avanesyan toyed with CEJ in sparring, the pre savage right hand Clebuterol bomb from a 190lb Clenelo prime iron-jawed version of Khan would Lacy Young Christopher.

Canelo and Groves punch harder than Eubank.

Nope, Eubank would get him out of there around the same time or sooner. Bigger than Canelo, not a counterpuncher, happy to bum-rush and it doesn’t take much to KO Khan.

Are Khan’s boxing skills sufficient to clown Eubank? Absolutely. But even if weight difference wasn’t so big, that’s still Khan we’re talking about - if there is a way to self destruct and **** up misserably, he’ll find it and use it.

Oh definitely, for few rounds, right until he knocks himself out by walking into the lights out punch like he normally does.

I guess you see what you want. Not everyone can appreciate a fighter with a good strategy.

I saw Canelo beating the turd out of Khan from round 1. Canelo was choosing his punches carefully as a good counter puncher does, destroying Khan's body, forcing Khan to drop his guard and cover his body, and using feints to trick Khan, which combined lead to Amir Khan getting KTFO!!

Fun fact: Adailde Byrd was the only judge who had Khan winning at the time of the stoppage.

    Leave Amir Khan alone

he's given us a load of excitement these past 10 years and he will be retiring in his next fight in the same fashion that he entered the sport. excitement and vulnerability.

Does Eubank have lights out power though? I don`t think he does at all.

CEJ's fists have never encountered a set of titanium whiskers like the pre savage right hand Clenbuterol bomb from a 190lb Clenelo that Khan possessed.
