    "Coward UK fighters".....

British fighters have always travelled to the US when they were the B side.

Now they're the A side, they're staying put.

It's pretty scary how nationalistic the US fans are, that this kind of fake drivel needs to be released to them in order for the US promoters to justify how the mighty USA! USA! USA! is playing second fiddle to an Island.

I just don't see the fight happening and don't blame Whyte for not fighting Ortiz. Besides Joshua Ortiz would easily be the toughest opponent he's ever faced, but Ortiz doesn't have a belt and also brings no money to the table. If Whyte really has a Joshua fight guaranteed next year he'd be an idiot to put that payday in jeopardy by facing a guy like Ortiz. Even Tyson Fury back in 2015 said he'd never fight Ortiz unless Ortiz had a belt, since he and most Cuban fighters simply aren't worth the risk for what they bring to the table.

That doesnt sound like Ortiz who isnt even American. Not that i care i like the sound of it, if hes prime at 49 for Wilder he can be prime at 50 for Whyte. I thought Ortiz had turned Whyte down a couple of times already? If Ortiz came to the UK it would be a PPV headline so to get him to go on that Wilder Fury undercard would have to make him a decent offer.

Some folks have an issue with giving Whyte the respect and credit he deserves. Plenty tipped Browne against him but when he got KTFO the post fight narrative was focused on Browne's lack of conditioning. Parker was supposedly levels above and would expose Whyte, but when Whyte emerged victorious after a gruelling thriller of a fight, Parker went from iron-chinned elite to plodding tinman.

I would still probably favour Ortiz but Whyte would be a very dangerous opponent, hopefully somebody puts up the requisite dough and we get treated to yet another clash of titans in this, the Platinum Age of HW boxing.

You obviously missed the large list of names I stated where Whyte could easily make a PPV with a hell of a lot more money rather than cater to the rediculous monetary or location requests of a guy who isnt even a draw.

Whyte beats the out of shape guy with blood pressure problems and who only has one decent win to his name.

    Somebody ghost-wrote that for Ortiz.

Ortiz needs to get in line, Whyte after a defeat had to go the long way and rebuild slowly and still isn't in a world title fight and that's after a reasonably impressive run of results.

Ortiz got knocked out and needs to rebuild, Whyte owes him nothing, Ortiz can't just try and use Whyte to get himself relevant again.

Also, If it's OK for Wilder to ignore Whyte who is his number 1 challenger and openly say he'll make him wait two years then Whyte has every right to tell Ortiz to wait because even if Whyte fought and beat Ortiz.. Wilder has already said he isn't getting a title shot so Ortiz brings nothing for Whyte, absolutely nothing.

Ortiz can barely speak English, let alone use or understand English idioms, slang or rhyming vernacular that doesnt even rhyme in Spanish. Ortiz simply gave permission for someone else to speak on his behalf.

Hearn sent over an offer for 22nd December apparently. Fury and Wilder can't afford to pay Whyte and Ortiz on their card.

Let's see if Ortiz has balls or not.

Whyte has looked twice as good as Ortiz and face much better opposition in doing so. Don't delete your account after granny Ortiz gets his arse handed to him and retires.

Except for where it actually counts, against a shared opponent.
