And Canelo should have told Floyd to take a running jump as GGG did to him.

No issue with him going up to 168 to fight. I have more of an issue with "regular belts." That's a sport-wide problem, you can get a belt out of a Cracker Jack box.

    Have you proof of this?

And as I said previous 4 out of 5 fights where at 155 and he tried to drain GGG to this weight to.....this is not made up talk.

It was the only way Floyd would fight Canelo. I agree Floyd should have fought him straight up at 154. Hell GGG himself said he'd move down to 154 to fight Floyd Mayweather GGG's "dream fight" remember.

Yes and Ward said he'd go to 160 for Floyd, Floyd is the money fight.

What if I told you not all the stiffs GGG fought were mandatories, including Monroe?

Any time a fighter moves up in weight he should be allowed to test the waters without much criticism. I know we all hold Canelo to greater standards, but it really shouldn't be the case, Canelo fighting Rocky in his first real SMW fight is just fine. We didn't take issue with Callum Smith fighting him, why should we take issue with any fighter moving up in weight fighting him.

I don't have as much of a problem with catchweights in non-title fights. When titles are involved though I have more of a problem with them, even moreso when it's a unification fight. That's why the 152 catchweight for Floyd Canelo was inappropriate, which was a 154-lb unification. Floyd won the title from Cotto at 154 so him needing 152 for Canelo was especially bad. It's worse if you win a title at the full weight, then start demanding catchweights, then if you win a title at a catchweight which in the case of Canelo Cotto was the Champion's (Cotto's) demand. I don't have as much of a problem with Canelo fighting Lara in a non-title fight at 155 since it wasn't for a title.

I can redundantly post links to where GGG himself says he would fight at 154 as recent as 2017.

Why hold it against Canelo when GGG himself says he would?

The point is that GGG's said he's willing to make weight sacrifices for Mayweather but not for Canelo. I'm not even sure Canelo ever seriously demanded GGG fight him at 155 though I know you and others have claimed that. It may have been a negotiation tactic but I don't think Canelo GGG negotiations really ever got started following the Khan fight, due to the WBC's 15-day timeframe and the court case involving Canelo's former promoter that Canelo was tied up with during that time.

Would you be surpised if I told you GGG had 2 or 3 fights above 160?

If Canelo did that Canelo would probably still be undefeated, but he wouldn't have gotten that payday and name recognition as he got for fighting Floyd.

For Floyd, he's a mega money fight.

Canelo wanted the unification of the 160 belts at 155, hence why he vacated when he never got his own way.

Terrible translator, but Canelo clearly states, "lets put the belts to the side".

Canelo is a mega money fight too, but I understand your point there. The reason he vacated though had to do with the WBC's 15-day timetable . I think you just like saying that it was because of a catchweight demand without you actually knowing that.
