    Really?

He can do nothing else but block punches with his face?

Mind you, take away the chins of some other great fighters ... Hagler, Ali, say, and they're a lot worse too.

If will to win was that strong , he would have fought Canelo the same way he fought the likes of Brook and Macklin etc.

He didn't fight like a man who refused to be denied and thats why he came away with a draw and a loss.

There's plenty of guys who had an unbreakable will to win and did whatever it took to beat their opponent. Golovkin isn't one of them.

A few examples - Druan against Leonard. Hagler against Hearns.

Golovkin had to go all out like them against Canelo but two the fights proved he wasn't willing to.

It was Canelo in the rematch who had the greater will to win.

Like Hopkins then, not 1 elite did he face at 160, unless we are including Super feather Oscar and welter Trinidad. The only time he stepped up at 160 he was beaten, not 1 name :D

Except for when he breaks your ribs and knocks you out.

To many intangibles to correctly measure. But outside of the natural giftedness and ability, lies a love of his craft and the desire and persistence to work at it in such a way as to be the best (or at least his best?). Great fighter that I have only grown to appreciate in the last couple of years.

C’mon man just when I see you have a couple of decent posts you go and write nonsense like this? Just because someone (ignorantly) bashes GGG (or anyone?) you try and denigrate another boxer (ATG at that) to elevate the one you support....Hopkins & GGG (yeah Canelo too) are great on their own merits regardless of others. Dom’t Let trolls bait you into this trap...enjoy them all bro

Yeah, he will knock me out. But not Jacobs or Canelo, right?

I stand by it and Hagler.. Am I wrong? Tell me who Hop or Hagler beat at 160 that was great ?? Not knocking them, but its pretty much the same. I'm adding balance, all the greats at 160 never fought another great prime fighter in recent memory that was a true bonifide middle, not their fault I know, but if GGG hasn't it counts against him ?? What about dominating ? Longevity ? These are major pointers on evaluating a fighter, not just meeting another great fighter to prove greatness...Wlad never beat a great in his prime, Lennox Lewis never beat a great in his prime, it doesn't stop me from putting them firmly at the top of the heavyweights ever. What im getting at is, great fighters rarely get the chance to fight other great fighters at a weight where all is equal, like prime + equal weight naturally..You get me ? Hopkins is top 5 at middle and I have no probs if someone has him No1, but he never slayed another middleweight great, just like GGG, just like Monzon, Hagler etc

Probably one of the most ducked fighters in his prime.

I would say its his work rate in prep. You can tell by his amazing gas tank, solid fundamental's and how "solid" he looks on the offensive/defensive. He also has amazing way to work out how fighters will go for him, then adapt to that. Like the Lemiuex fight, His use of the jab completely nullified Lemieux and made it look a walk in the park.
