Wait what happened to the hairy knuckled inbreeds comment regarding red Afros? That was quite funny.

That would've been a really fun fight for however long it lasted. I see shades of Kirkland-Alvarez in that matchup.

Obviously David is the inferior boxer so I'd assume he'd try to make it a slugfest. I can see Alvarez getting hit with some major shots but eventually knocking Lemieux out.

Yeah, he just fought the guy that destroyed Lemmy with ease.......TWICE!!! So your contention is, Canelo is more frieghtened of the guy that got beat by the guy he fought twice? Help me understand your logic, please.

Honestly, Lemieux is not a good enough boxer to fight on even terms with this new 160 Canelo.

On the other hand Lemieux has genuine bone shattering power and if he lands a clean one on Canelo it could well be lights out. I think Oscar decided the risk was too great and is sticking with featherfists for the near future at least.

Hey I like him but his style is tailormade for a good elusive boxer and Canelo qualifies. On the other hand he hits like a truck so there's always a chance.

You reckon Lemiuex knocks out Rocky?

Not sylvester Stallone but the one Canelo is facing at 168.

Do you think Haymon has been a force for good within boxing? What has he achieved other than topping up his own bank account?

I think a flush Lemieux shot could KO nearly anybody within spitting distance of his weight. Even GGG was careful with him.

Lemieux isn't good. I'm glad he didn't get the big payday without having earned it.
