Eddie confirmed they received a email of the 50m but they refused to send a contract unless he accepted the fight before hand (who in the right mind would do that?). F.Warren the confirmed that the deal invovled the fight being shown on BT Sports therefore making the deal void anyway due AJ's contract with Sky.
Eddie Hearn appeared to be genuinely rattled in the latest IFL interview. He knows that Finkel has ran circles around him and cashed in on AJ's name. In response to this OP thread, AJ hasn't lost any credibility. The guys a unified champ after 22 fights and consensus number 1 in the division.
According to the paper today, Joshua is facing Miller next in April if they can't get Wilder next according to Hearn.
No wonder Miller has done a U Turn and is full of praise for Hearn. Miller is undderrated as a fighter on this forum and looked much better against Washington and Duhaupas than Wilder actually did. However styles wise Miller is a perfect opponent for AJ. Miller would be bad match up styles wise for Wilder and cause him problems.
Yet you haven't provided valid points to counter argue these facts. The following video sums it up well This content is protected
Dear Edjit Hearn , would you like to make the AJ v Wilder fight and split over $200 million in 2 fights??? Dear Team Wilder,No thanks but ill offer you $6 million to fight in the UK.....OH go on then ill offer $15 million flat fee with no rematch.....Yours truly Eddie.... It is just madness....AJ would fight Wilder tomorrow but It is Matchroom that has lost ALL credibility in this fiasco Now the Hearns are begging to meet team Wilder and they wont even pick up the phone.....Fury has blocked them too....AJ has nowhere to go now apart from the Matchroom stooges of Whyte/Chisora/Miller/Povetkin There is more chance of Dubois fighting Fury or Wilder now imo
Dubois is too active and in shape to be a Wilder opponent. Look at the Evidence: Fury - Out of shape and has only had 2 fights in 3 years against the Albanian number 2 Cruiserweight and a HW ranked outside the top 50. Ortiz - out of shape fighter who had blood pressure issues just before the fight, and whom only had 1 fight in 15 months which was against 16-5-1 Daniel Martz. Stiverne 2 - Grossly overweight and hadn't fought in 2 years (which was against Rossy who dropped Stiverne in the 1st round). Arreola - Enough said.
Ok you Matchroom stooges win....Wilder didnt want the fight that is why you muppets are being paid next to nowt to spam the internet all day....
That rubbish only came out in september. It wasn’t going to be on BT, Sky would have had the chance to make a bid. The 50M offer came in Late May, Joshua’s Contract with Sky had Expired by then anyway, it was renewed in July. So legally the fight could have been on BT
Well yes obviously, you only have to listen to what has been said by Hearn, Finkel and Warren to come to that conclusion. However What I was getting at is that in your previous post you implied that AJ now has limited options on who he fights and the options available to him are poor fighters because Fury and Wilder don't want to fight him. Whilst the world is Fury and Wilders oyster. AJ in his last two fights has beaten and a undefeated world champion (Parker) and then stopped a guy who has never been stopped before that also has strongest record in the divison after himself. The rumoured next potential year opponents for AJ: Whyte - The guy in the divison most deserving of a title shot. On win a steak beating Chisora, Helenius, Browne and Parker. Miller - The next most deserving fighter of a title shot in the HW divison after Whyte. Win Streak includes Kassi, Washington Wach, Duhaupas and likely Adamek by the end of the night. Uysk - Top 3 P4P fighter. Whilst Wilder's opponent after he beats an out of shape Fury (that's if the fight goes ahead and Fury doesn't pull out again to lead to Wilder vs Stiverne 3) is Brezeale.
