Nkosi Solomon vs. Matt Cameron 4 rounds @ Heavyweight

 

Solomon is VERY skilled another guy going in my top 20 prospects unless he suffers a twilight zone moment here.

 

He doesn't look very skilled to me. He looks avg. Looks like he may have a poor gas tank, and a glass jaw though.

Solomons pro debut, he started boxing in 2013 but had an outstanding amateur career. He looks like Wilder, skinny, tall but athletic. Cameron nervous as ****, starting like a lunatic and didn't hear the referees commands holding and clinching like crazy but Solomon answering with tons of hard shots, some connecting clean, some missing the target, some are going a bit too low. Cameron trying to fight at the inside to equalize the reach advantage of Solomon. Some left and right hooks are landing, Cameron rocking Solomon at the end of the round as both fighting head to head in the corner.

Cameron still trying to fight at the inside, making this very dirty head to head, Solomon is a bit too stiff and static as he isn't moving around to create some new angles to throw. Cameron landing a couple of wild shots, Solomon is way easy too hit and Cameron landing another huge shot, Solomon definitely rocked. Cameron has absolutely zero boxing skills but still troubling Solomon here with his awkward style and connecting clean way too often.

 

Solomon looking very poor. 1-1, could be 2-0 Cameron, the way he rocked Solomon at the end of round one.

 

Take a point, how many low blows is Solomon allowed to land?

 

Agree. Having no plan b vs a brawler isn't a good sign.

Solomon dropped by a huge right hand, he is hurt, clinching his way out of the trouble but Cameron hasn't the tools to finish this quickly so Solomon might recovering but Cameron still landing another huge shot. Solomon surviving the round with clinching and moving out.
