anyone who watched his fights can see that. Lewis caught him pre-prime technique-wise. As for exposure, you have it backward, Vitali was outboxing Lewis, 4-2 on all THREE cards and had him tired. He also gave Lewis a black and had him cut on the nose.

If you watch the film closely Lewis landed an illegal back had swipe over the eye that was cut just before we saw blood, and there was also a meeting of the heads before we saw the blood. We did not see the blood immediately after that punch landed. Hmmmm....

I do not see that Vitali improved technique wise. He still had the same trainer. Vitali's technique was never great, he was Always kind of an arm puncher. Vitali had other strengths than punching technique.

It is well documented on film that the cut was the result of a Lewis overhand right. I am surprised that you did not agree with the the offical ruling on that
