Just to add, the BBBofC have said that BJS is not in breach of BBBofC or UKAD anti doping regulations and will be ok to defend his title. No matter what is said on here by any of us, the people who run boxing in our country who are very stringent on many matters and are respected throughout the world for running a pretty tight ship, have come out and said he hasn’t cheated and is clear to fight. He’s officially NOT broke any rules.
That is absolute BS.....They signed up for testing and failed the test.. It is like saying because you can legally smoke cannabis in 1 country so you think you can do it in another...It dont work like that
He OFFICIALLY HAS....!! He was signed up to fight in USA so the BBBofC have zero input with their UKad testing....In fact the BBBOFC need to look into their doping because if they only do fight night testing its no wonder some fighters never leave UK...
I don’t know enough about it bud, just posting what they said on Fight Disiples whom are a couple of boxing hardcores who openly slate fighters who have been juicing. They slated BJS on his previous behaviour but called this lazy journalism that people have jumped on and that he hasn’t broken any rules.
Well if it is lazy journalism what does that make your posts saying BJS broke no rules?..Fake news?More lazy? What does it make UKAD rules where you only get tested on day of fight?i was shocked to hear that and it has defo made me think about UK boxers that wont go on the road... The same people on that podcast will be no doubt killing Canelo for clen or Ortiz for blood pressure pills yet give BJS a pass for ephedrin
There talking sh it mate , he agreed to VADA testing for this fight . Conteh even put the money up to pay for the VADA testing he has broke the terms of the contract . The bbbc have no chance say whatsoever on the matter for this fight ! The wada and ukad testing are a joke!!! Look at all the substabce s you are allowed to take up until fight day it's madness !! Ukad and wada are a joke how the hell are you allowed to take some of the sh it on there list up until the day of the fight ??? Unbelievable !!!
It is madness...No fighter should ever ever get busted on the day of a fight... At least the 'in camp' testing is almost fair
I’m not quite following the first paragraph of your post. I’ve no idea what’s in the contract for the Andrade fight. I’m quite ignorant to what is stipulated in fighter’s contracts, and PED’s. All I know is that in Britain he hasn’t broken any rules and therefore is not a drugs cheat. If he’s broke the contract then that’s another matter and he’ll face the consequences (if there are even any). @Patter983 Has he actually failed a test or where there ‘elevated’ levels where they highlight this to the fighter? Genuine question, I don’t know anything about it.
I don't see how they can say this when they have no jurisdiction for this fight. Its nothing to do with them. This is not a difficult matter. BJS signed up to VADA testing, with that comes a list of illegal substances. Now UKAD cannot then override VADA rules as UKAD have nothing to do with the testing for this fight. Saunders was popped for an illegal substance. He and his team should of known what was prescribed and what wasn't. To try and bring UKAD into it is nothing short of a joke. If the state decline him a boxing licence and the WBO strip him there is nothing UKAD or the British boxing board of control can do about it as neither of those organisations have jurisdiction over this fight. There should of been no confusion here as BJS agreed to VADA testing so looking at what UKAD`s rules were was totally pointless. This whole saga makes me question UKAD now. How can they allow a fighter to take a substance outside fights night. If its banned on fight night it's clearly something performance enhancing. When you hear major sports like NFL, NBA, MLB and NCAA ban it at all times you really have to question why is BJS taking this?
If you go to the USA and drive at 70 mph on the motorway you have broken the law.....your excuse cannot be well its ok to do 70 mph in the UK.... Yes he failed the test
But allow fighters to take vada banned substances right up to fight night. How anyone can justify this madness I don't know.
Ah, thanks for the analogy. So he’s not a drugs cheat in this country but it’s against the rules in another, nice one.
