Also showed us he is behind this guy, who took Johnson out, and who won again tonight:

Dubois is nothing special. This division is doing well under Joshua, Wilder, Fury, Miller, Whyte, Chisora, Kownacki, Martin, and Parker. It also has Hrgovic, Joyce, Yoko, Dychko, Pletschko, Gorman, Milas, Miljas, Romanov, Afonin, Teslenko, Wallin, Kuzman, Fa, Jalolov, Tischenko, Zakhozyi, Sirenko, Kabeyel and Plevako all on deck. I am not sure if there is really room for Dubois.

Kownacki would beat him on work rate. Punches landed is the most important category in scoring, and Dubois is not the boxer or puncher to keep a guy like Kownacki off of him.

Dubois is not ready to be fast tracked. Needs to keep developing. He ran out of ideas, and work rate in trying to put it on Kevin Johnson. I'm just seeing raw talent but he had no idea how to put his punches together to get him out of there. I like him though, his fanbase needs to be patient.

Last nights was a tough watch but lots of good fighters struggle to put away an opponent who is only interested in survival. So DD should take the positives and move on.

He's a thoroughly decent likeable guy. He has impressive physical frame but these last couple of fights as he's stepping up slightly I keep thinking that it's a pity he turned pro so young. He should be gaining experience in the amateur world at the moment, away from the hype and pressure of the pro game.

His style is more pro one,i doubt it makes a huge difference unlsess they take a fast track .The Johnson fight showed he can keep the same work rate up and he showed ability to not force anything ,I think this was the plan after round 3 .

Joshua is superior counter puncher ,who hurt Johnson when he actually tried throwing punches. Against Dubois he simply turtled up against an inferior fighter who was predictable..probably bc he had Joshua flash backs so he didn't throw anything to try and win to leave himself open.

After the fight Johnson stated Dubois jab was a nightmare so he couldn't win unless he slowed to force any offense.

I agree. As a teenager with limited experience, it would have made sense to have stayed as a amateur and maybe waited until after the 2020 Olympics when he would have still only be around 22/23 years old before turning pro. Frank Warren seeing Eddie Hearn with Joshua, must have filled his head with promises of fame and fortune to get him to turn pro so young.

    Plus he is only 21..

If a person is there just to survive it is hard to take them out..

Ortiz v Scott is a good example.. No one questions Ortiz's power..
