Why should that weight difference be acceptable and allowed. . . .Miller vs Adameck?

A prime Adamek outboxes Miller IMO.

Holy-Valuev was a fix where an old legend got a last payday & Valuev got the remnants of a name. Everyone knew it'd be Valuev on points so nobody bothered to go all that hard.

It wasn't any different than Lebedev-Jones, only Lebedev snapped when Roy broke script and went a little too hard at the end of the fight.

I could perhaps agree if we were talking about some 7ft+ 300lbs Klitschko’s bouncing around in the ring.

Miller is that big though, because of poor dieting and a clear obsession with gains at the gym.

I'd prefer them to clampdown on excessive holding, the weight can be an issue depending on the matchmaking but an elite heavyweight will beat a guy that isn't but has a big weight advantage, that's why guys like Galento, Butterbean, Camera, Valuev etc aren't ATGs.

Imagine Wlads reign if he wasn't allowed to hold excessively, could have took a few more losses, the super big guys tend to gas quicker, not to say that with all but it does happen, especially to musclebound fighters.

That fights shouldn't have been made, it wasn't just the weight advantage but Adamek is 41 years old, well past prime and was even KOd by Eric Molina not so long back.

His last decent win was Steve Cunningham in 2012 and that could have went o Cunningham, if you take that into account and that he was fortunate to get a win v Chambers as well your looking at 2010.when he edged Arreola (aitn seen that one so no idea how legit it was).

Add in a hefty weight advantage to that and Adamek was always toast. Miller wouldn't do the same thing to the topnguys, he struggled with Washington who is in a toss up with Price for worst gas tank of all time.

Cap it at 220-225. That way these guys need to train to stay in shape. Don't need to watch obese fools plodding and breathing heavy after the 3rd round.

I agree about the holding, nobody wants to see that. It seems like home town fighters get more leniency with it too.

I hate the holding tbh, needs to be penalised more frequently. Guys get a warning about getting deductions and 10x later nothing has been done about it.

That Okolie has been in a couple of the worst fights I have ever seen and all because the ref had no balls. Tbh even Okolie would have been better off because I think he turned off a lot of fans with that showing.

Both Klits were in incredible shape...and weighed in the neighborhood of 240-250. It IS possible to be huge and be in shape.

You sound hollow and appearance fixed. Boxing is not about looks. I don't even want to imagine your take on old traditional and proudful sumo wrestling.

Heavyweight boxing evolves. Size is king, true north for the evolution of the sport, the winning formula. The more you can add the better boxer you become. Good looking to your eyes or not - Miller brings loads of talents to the table - Deal with it.

Miller holds no title. Adamek fought him because he chose to so what are you whining about?

The upper weights need to be fixed. Maybe cap off CW at 190 and create a new filler division at 220.
These are things that must be looked into. Guys who are 220 and can't make 200 should not be forced to fight 250+ guys.

Ali, HOLMES, Tyson, Holyfield... any one of these in their prime vs Miller? Would that be fair?

Then why isn't a fight matched with Adameck versus a lightweight. . .same weight difference

Because they can land on someone and ruin their career. I remember Pride FC had nuts though. I hate that the UFC bought them out and got rid of all the Asian fighters.
