GGG within 6 rounds, easy. Jermall is going to be exposed bad by GGG if they fight, real bad. People are only bringing this up because they think GGG is finished, well...he isn't. He might not be anything like the fighter he once was, but he's still a force to be reckoned with and will put Charlo to sleep. Think about it, what does Charlo offer that GGG doesn't? Not much is the answer.
The question is can Charlo be beaten by a jab.. Id say not. Big Charlo is too quick of hand and foot for slow Golovkin and would crown many hard shots off his head. There's only so much punishment G is able to handle. Currently he's out of the ring for a year because of the damage Canelo done to him. Id say Charlo is a bad fight for him.
... Golovkin destroys Charlo ... Dino "Charlo was a bum he was never any good" I still remember his Wlad days when he'd claim Wlad was ducking X .... until he beat X like a drum - then the guy was no good any more and never was any good
3G has shown he is able to marginally UD good world class guys like Jacobs, so i think 3G takes it with sheer pressue.
I don't think Jermall has the ring iq to beat Golovkin. He would brawl with him and GGG has a stonehead and he puts his punches together better than Jermall. I would pick Golovkin to pop his cherry, Jermall is no Canelo.
Charlo is good but until he beats an elite opponent as in a future HoF candidate then who else on his record has he beaten which would lend him credibility in deciding whether or not he beats Golovkin. I say Golovkin currently puts on a boxing clinic against Charlo, despite no longer being in his prime but since he isn't shot either, I'd hold Charlo in high esteem if he were to prove me wrong. I'm not saying he isn't capable but at the moment, Golovkin is still the more capable of the two in my mind.
The old Champ always has one good fight left in his bag, until the younger, new guy steps into the ring. That is what the sport of boxing is all about.
